I play a shark build not mentioned here called the "Goblin Shark". Because of their extendible mouth, they can easily farm deep sea fish players from their bigger, extendible hitbox. But this build is controversial because maybe it sounds good, but it is limited to deep sea servers only. And the problem is that all deep sea servers are mostly empty with just a few player groups on the server. Another problem is that this build is considered a skill issue amongst deep sea players because of their larger damage hitbox and speed, that makes them a killing machine once they see a target.

Their cartilage skeleton actually is one of their main advantages. It's elastic which means energy is recycled every time they bend their bodies which allows sharks to swim far more efficiently than bone fish. The elasticity also means it can bend much further while also providing resistance to bending which means that providing you have the muscle power you can accelerate faster and swim faster.

The biggest downside of cartilage is precision. Sharks can not swim as accurately as bony fish can so they have to either be apex predators or rely on high stealth investment.

tiger shark main here, why the hell am I not S tier. We’re like great whites but without the shallow water debuff that great whites get once reaching adult and can switch servers from coastal to pelagic whenever we feel like it. Plus we have fancy go-faster stripes.

as a great white main i have to say it was really hard to max out this build but i did it and i unlocked the 25 feet size as a male which is something that shouldn’t be in the game someone added it as a jaws reference normally builds get to about 20 feet as females they may even reach 21 feet but that’s really rare also i used to be a mako main and while the speed is handy the power stat even when maxed out isn’t that strong while the great white has slower but still very fast speed and more power making it one of the best oceanic builds in the game with the jaws size secret unlock i could stand a chance of even beating and killer whale player
