Record high? They’ve only been keeping accurate weather data for about 50 years. They’ve been keeping limited weather data for about 120 years.
All-time high? We are actually in an ice age so pretty sure that is BS.
Drove through Las Vegas late summer in the 90's, public thermometer read 125, it was so hot my ac couldn't cool the air. Talking to a local as I filled up with gas, local told me that it was normal for Vegas.
ОтветитьHi from Phoenix, yeah you live in the desert just like we do so you’re not really breaking any records to be honest, and the concrete doesn’t help, but it is what it is
ОтветитьThis is Climate Change!! No Coal, Gas or Oil this been around for thousands of Years!! But us Humans have covered the Earth in so much Asphalt and Cement the Earth can't breathe!! Las Vegas has few trees but a lot of cement buildings that bring the heat and hot to touch!! Just look at New York and other Big Cities ground is covered!! Wasn't like this in the fifties or sixties!! Now we have built so many great cities with lots of Cement and asphalt it gets so much hotter!!!!So sad we blame Fossil Fuels which have nothing to do with Climate Change!! IT is Our doing!! We have only ourselves to blame!!!!!
ОтветитьNot a record , just normal july - What jackass weather reporting
ОтветитьAnother summer, same ol bs!!!
ОтветитьIf only you had a carbon tax to stop climate change.. 😂
ОтветитьPoor guy, he's just a regular employee telling the lies channel 13 assigns him.
ОтветитьFake news.
ОтветитьCongratulations breaking the record 🎉
ОтветитьUh, Sunday didn't feel any hotter than the day before... and I was on the East side for awhile in the afternoon too where it's usually 2-3 degrees hotter than the rest of the valley. This is strange.
ОтветитьI was in Vegas in 1974 when it hit 130
ОтветитьYes, but it's a DRY heat.
ОтветитьJesus is the answer.
ОтветитьI would never have thought that the hottest day ever in Las Vegas is a temperature seen several times per summer in NorCal...
ОтветитьAnd "records" have been kept for how long? About 200 years? And the earth is near 5 BILLION years old. Get over it climate fools and move on.
Ответить🔥 TODAY IS. HOT🔥
HELL IS HOTTER
DO. EVERYTHING POSSIBLE
NOT TO GO THERE
No light reflector needed with his Crome dome
ОтветитьMake a Movie
ОтветитьI’m from Hawai’i and I rather take 87 degrees over 119 degrees any day. And guess what? I can jump in the ocean and enjoy the beach. To that ex Hawai’i resident. Happy you like Las Vegas, i’ll pass and live in Hawai’i.
ОтветитьNotice here, I recall days over 120, been here for 32 years now before that several times a year on business, nothing new. Plus note: more pavement now and those solar panels create lots of heat also.
ОтветитьI'm so happy to be away from Vegas and that damn heat. I always thought they lied about the temperature because it's a tourist town.
Ответитьbeen there & experienced it. I think it was around 118 F back in the 90s when I was there. It's like standing in front of an oven and opening the door.
ОтветитьGo to Death Valley for real hot temps.
ОтветитьThat's all the media anywhere can do is LIE!!!!
Trump 2024! ❤
I went to LV on my birthday once in August which wasn’t a great idea. It was around 105 each day. I couldn’t be outside for more than a few minutes. Can’t imagine 120
ОтветитьI don’t know why you guys are lying and say it was a record
ОтветитьNew death valley
ОтветитьPropaganda! The NWS database shows temperatures at the Sunrise Manor station (located in the city to the east of the airport) recorded temperatures => 120 F in 1959, 1960, 1972 and the highest was 122 F in 1983. This station stopped recording temps in 1989. These are official National Weather Service measurements.
Issue a CORRECTION.
I bet the temperature stations are in urban heat islands and the temp isn't higher than the heat waves of the late 1800s or early 1900s.
Media outlets that publish misinformation should be heavily fined.
The world coming to any end the earth's core is moving in reverse
ОтветитьSad for all the heat in Vegas
ОтветитьStay safe everybody! Help the elderly, drink enough water and look out for additional electrolytes! ✅❤️
ОтветитьI lived there in the 80’s. Pretty simple; add a bunch of asphalt, get hotter temperatures. Local Heat island effect.
ОтветитьI parked my big rig out in Needles. It was 123. So hot, that standing out in it for more than a few mintues was torture. But that wasn't enough, next day I came through Vegas, 120, stuck my hand out the window while driving through downtown on I-15, and it felt like my hand was frying.
ОтветитьWhen you take the temperature in the wrong place, records are made. It's called LYING.
ОтветитьI was there when it was 117. It delayed my plane flight out for a few hours till it cooled a few degrees.
ОтветитьIt was a record temperature if you only go back 5 years. 1930's a record of 136F degrees was recorded but lets forget about that because it debunks our global warming narrative.
ОтветитьSeeing stories like this would have, in the past, worried me about the future of our planet, you know, getting too hot to live comfortably due to Climate Change, but then I remember
the words and actions of that GOP senator, James Inhofe who famously disproved that whole stupid concept by bringing an actual SNOWBALL into the halls of Congress,
in February 2015. Thank god for brilliant minds like his!!
Fudge vegas its wack!!!
ОтветитьDo they get an award ? 🤪🇺🇲
ОтветитьLet me clarify something for everyone. When you use an AC unit it forces the hot air out and replaces it with cold air, the hot air is expelled outside. If everyone is doing that there must be a lot of hot air outside more than what would normally be there. So it gets hotter and we cool off and it keeps getting hotter. Is there anyone else that sees the irony in that?
ОтветитьI completely understand when he says.. I'll take triple digits over humidity any day... you literally have to work 2x harder to breath in higher humidity.. it's god awful.
ОтветитьAnd yet, people still choose to live there.
ОтветитьFAKE NEWS AGAIN
ОтветитьWhat date was the hottest ever in Las Vegas ......?...
ОтветитьI remember 125 a few years ago. What record?
ОтветитьThose people at the bus stop dress like it’s autumn!
ОтветитьKey word: recorded. Not history
ОтветитьIsnt it cooler in Casino?
Ответить
