Is there a feature (or a patch) used here which transforms the Matrix 1000 into a drum module so you really could build the whole track just with it? Most demos I’ve heard of this awesome box feature an external beatbox. But, the 1000 is also a virtual modular synth which I know could be programmed to duplicate the same type of sounds heard in the Roland TR/CR drum machines.

I was also compelled to listen to it more than once. Great stuff.

A lot of '80s synth players used Oberheims. This synth was meant to be a cheaper way to get the sounds of an OB-X or OB-8.

This is so much better than the last M1000 song demo I heard... Nice one.
