If it wasn't for the horrible chase sequences in this game it'd be one of the best silent hill games imo.

absolutely love the aesthetics of this game, very underrated

This story was really well written, but it can hardly be called a Silent hill game, it really tried to ride on Silent hill 1's tailcoat. Just running from enemies, while interesting, serves no greater purpose than to not completely be a walking simulator.
I'd still play it, seems fun, and the story is so sad, it got me tear-eyed.

This was my first All In Le Head game I ever played.
We were too poor to get an Xbox or PS2 or 3 so my Parents got Me and my Sister a Wii, Me and Her hold this game in a special place in our hearts.

This game i played it in 2013 when i was 11 yrs old on my brother's psp and i played it and was ill for a week thats how much the whole vibe spooked me, ill never ever forget this unforgettable game the fog and the silent hill will always be present and the rainy days too, thank u team silent for making a masterpiece

Though this game came first, it reminded me of the 2016 novel I'm Thinking of Ending Things (more so the book than the movie), especially given that ending.

I loved the game so much as a new Silent Hill game, not as a reboot of the first one, the original have it's own charm

Man, i can't believe it, i was almost 30 now, my ps2 is not yet repaired, as i remember, i was too scared to finish this game, maybe because of the dark surrounding and torchlight setting. Up til now, i think im still scared to finish the game 😅😂, but i finished resident evil 4

The dialogue is a bit different to what I got. At the reveal, the psychiatrist said to me, ".....he's not even a ghost! He doesn't exist!... wake up!" Then the dad showed up... "You've always been with me.." The dad's answer is most like, "I'm always with you.."

I don't know anything about this game but making my own little small prediction: The therapist is talking to the daughter of the guy you're playing as.

The theme that plays during the therapy sessions always makes the twist of this game's story feel even more depressing in a good way, to me.
