No stress always a pleasure to see you guys reacting and hear you thoughts about our 7 precious kings ..can’t wait for the next .thank you 💜💜💜
ОтветитьI think I just enjoy these reactions to see the confusion! lol. It had ARMY confused too, initially. One of the good things is that it has been figured out for you already, if you really want to check it out on your own. lol. Xceleste has a video explaining it all. It's too complicated to go in too deep. I think the simple story of the mv, is that together they are happy, apart they are miserable and going through their own struggles. Thanks for reacting.
ОтветитьAmo a mis reyes 💜😍😘👑💘🔥💯
ОтветитьBTS are South Korean band not Japanese ! This song is from their album HYYH ( the Most Beautiful Moment in Life) and is connected with a narrative that is connected with the imaginery characters of the 7 members! This year was released a series called " Youth' and is the story of BTS imaginery characters from HYYH ! What is interesting is that this story is not yet closed and until today we see references to it not only in the groups music videos but also in the music videos of their solos!
ОтветитьPlease BTS are korean, not japanese. Thanks.
ОтветитьGracias por tus reacciones 💜💜💜🇦🇷 ARGENTINA

Please l8sten to one of each from there solos jimin just bought one out which is now no 1 on the billboard charts called WHO and jungkook got a great one called Standing next to you!
ОтветитьI'm waiting for you reaction to rap line
ОтветитьKorean NOT Japanese
ОтветитьBTS lyrics are deep and it’s universal so it’s for everyone. And the BTS universe storyline is a whole other side of BTS and their music. It might be a little confused to you but if you get into the storyline, it will make more sense. I would say just listen to BTS With your own interpretation and just know that the lyrics and the music video are very deep and has a lot of quotes, meanings and storyline to it. It is not about just love. It’s about loving yourself, depression, being lost. It’s about the struggles within yourself or with others.
ОтветитьIt's metaphoric. BTS does that in their artistry. Maximum songs are like that. They only give us some hints about the concept, then let us brainstorm about that.
ОтветитьYes it was a build up. In the BU which is Bangtan Universe, which is BTS fictional storyline which includes some of their songs. V in these scene V is tired of the abuse from their alcoholic father V does the unthinkable. The BU is another rabbit hole to go down but it is a lot to digest, but it is wonderfully done. BTS music hits home with so many relatable topic and their music make sense.
If you notice when they are alone they are very sad, but once they are together they become happy and strong together. the contrast between the scene with v and then the fireworks after represents the happiness they feel together.
They are indeed great actors and story tellers.
ОтветитьHi dears. 69yo ARMY (BTS fan) here. Just to set your minds at ease a bit....no, it's not creepy at all when you guys make those weird noises....lol.
But seriously, I'm really enjoying your BTS reactions. You"ll fit in just fine.💜
@Offset Era ( Official Band & Reaction Channel) hello and thank you for doing BTS on your channel again, BTS are seven members who are all born and raised in South Korea they do sing and rap in Japanese but their first language is Korean!
You have been doing BTS maybe a dozen music videos both as a group and I think you’ve also done some solo members reactions on your channel I’m going to recommend this highly: please react to the informational guide” the Bangtan 7, A guide to BTS by Taylor Mari The May 2022 version she will be coming out hopefully for part two as a more up-to-date! It’s time to do it fellas I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s requested this but it’s long overdue and it’s time for you to get to know them not only as musical artist but as how they joined BTS!
I don't think newbies to BTS realize how groundbreaking this song and music video were for BTS. This song came out 2 years after they debuted and if this album wasn't successful it's more than likely BTS would have had to disband due to lack of money so there was a lot of pressure. They took a gamble making a music video that dealt with such dark and heavy subject matter that South Korea doesn't often address. Kpop is most known for having bright and colorful music videos with dancing and superficial lyrics and this music video was just the complete opposite. And while BTS had won awards before this, this song earned them their first Korean music show award and from then BTS kept rising.
ОтветитьCan't wait for y'all to get to the wings films
Ответитьyou will under stan after watching Bangtan Universe or Beign BTS
ОтветитьOh are we doing the BU? I hope so.
Ok so the BU goes deeper as the story go on.
All the guys are going through some deep stuff in their personal lives. So they are not feeling this way because of a girl. The MVs have nothing to do with the songs.
Also take into account that Korea has the highest suicide rate in the world I believe. So they're bringing awareness to that to.
So don't relate the songs to the MVs when it comes to the BU. The BU is a very dark story. It's not happy at all
I don't want to spoil it but just keep watching and you'll start picking up on things.
There is also A BTS universe explanation video. That you can react to if you want.
A kdrama has also came out about the BU that's how good it is.
Only for bts I'm here. And i can feel you, it's difficult to understand the context of the mv if you really don't know the story line.
ОтветитьAaaaaaannd.... You are traped in the BU.
You must go on to know what is going on with them.😂
This album was sort of the "make or break" for BTS. If it failed, BTS would probably not be here today. But it was a success.
You can still see callbacks to this video (tying everything together for the BU/Bangtan Universe)... Jimin in the water, and Suga in the fire come back in Fake Love MV, etc...
Girl=Music
ОтветитьInterestingly enough, RM said the lyrics were first supposed to be "I need you, friend" but it didn't sound good enough so it was changed to "I need you, girl". So the original meaning was a lot more connected to what the MV ended up being.
The MV is the start of the 'Bangtan Universe' which is a fictional storyline. The contrast between the heavy scenes when they are alone and the super joyful scenes when they're together was completely intentional. It's meant to show how being together is good for them while being on their own their troubles grow to destroy their lives. For example, Hobi when alone took his pills and ended up collapsing on the bridge but when they were together he threw them into the fire and had fun with the others (there's more to it but at that time that's all we had)
They're fine and happy when together. But alone, SUGA commits suicide by burning down his motel room, Hobi takes his pills and collapses on the bridge, Jimin is in the bathroom while having a breakdown, V stabs his father to death and JK gets beat up and hit by a car. At this point, we don't know much about RM except that he works in a gas station and Jin is doing something on his own with a heavy focus on the flower and flower petals
Back then, ARMYs had no idea about what this was all about either - it's confusing on purpose. We got new info on the story through various forms (MVs, highlight reels, concert VCRs, albums notes, a Webtoon, a mobile game, books notes) and it's still an on-going story! But we haven't had anything new in a while about it
Dear guys, although BTS have some albums in Japanese specially for that market. And they speak some Japanese... They are KOREAN... (you know...Kpop) 😂
ОтветитьJimin just came out with his second solo album! You should react to his song who. He has a music video and then also a performance on Jimmy fallon.
ОтветитьProbably better to know their names & faces before going any further into the rabbit whole of BTS Universe, MV are marked BU.
ОтветитьThe MV is part of a larger story line, tagged as the Bangtan Universe or BU. Its from a time called Most Beautiful Moment in Life, which depicts growing up and facing all the trials of the transition from innocent child to adolescents preparing for adulthood.
The story centers on 7 friends, each holding on to their own internal demons. They are happiest when they are together, but at the same time keep the others at a distance while they face their troubles alone. It has a SciFi element plot twist, which make it a very emotional character study and a suspensful thriller. The storyline is covered in the music videos, short videos, a web toon, and most cohesively in a 2 part book series. Recently a K-drama was produced of this story line, but none of our BTS members took part in the cast.
The song RUN is related to I NEED U.
ОтветитьAs long as the lyrics don't say "auto generated" when you hit CC and as long as your on one of their official channels (BangtanTV ; HYBE LABELS ; or 1theK) you can assume the lyrics are correct.
ОтветитьThis MV is part of their fictional universe "The Bangtan Universe" or the "BU". Each character has an entire backstory, that you don't know yet (nor did we when it came out). The story develops over multiple music videos, notes from inside the physical albums, a mobile game... It's a lot to grasp and you don't NEED to understand the storyline to enjoy the songs, just know that a LOT things you may see in MVs that may seem out of place, are not; nothing is a coincident with BTS.
Every time they are together, they are happy, it's when they are alone that you see their difficulties.
There is always a learning curve with BTS, and starting with music from the BU ( Bangtan Universe - an alternate reality storyline that spans several songs/albums/ MVs), can be super confusing. But nice reaction. This was their first big song, so it is really meaningful. I would recommend a b side track for some contrast.. try Dis-ease. It doesn’t have a MV just lyric video, but the song itself is a banger, with an insane bridge.
ОтветитьKorean not Japanese.
Ответитьwelcome to bu
Ответитьthere is something called the BU (BTS Universe), it's like an alternate universe where the boys are going through a lot of difficult situations, it's a whole storyline and it runs through the three HYYH (most beautiful moment in life) albums. The things happening to the boys in the MV are tied to this alternate universe storyline. It talks a lot about the difficult times youth can face while growing up. Anyway, this MV is full of references to that and symbols that you will see throughout a lot of the MVs.
Overall, I think one main thing to take from the MV is that when the boys are together they are happy and support each other, but when they are alone there are all these negative things happening in their lives. So although the title is 'I need you girl' it's not really talking only about a boy/girl relationship, it's talking about the important people in your life.
Also, BTS is Korean, not Japanese :-)
And not bad on pronouncing Yoongi, except it's a hard 'g' like in the word good.
Havd y'all checked dynamite, butter by bts they are full English songs.
ОтветитьThis isn’t your first BTS reaction. You don’t know they’re Korean? Not all Asians are Japanese, bro.

Korean. This is the Bangtan Universe. A fictional world that was created, it spans music videos, manhwa, short films, albums etc. It's a whole world. The members are all facing difficulties and some die in this universe, so Jin (the one with the flower) has to save his friends. He goes through time loops to save them. The original lyric was supposed to be friend, but it didn't fit so girl was used instead. This was BTS first win. I need U became the jumping point of changing Kpop. Music was never the same after this. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Ответить💜💜💜Thank you for the react! More BTS please !💜💜💜
ОтветитьI think it would be cool if you could look into their solo songs. Wildflower by RM, Jungkook’s solos, V’s Singularity, Jimin’s Lie,…
ОтветитьPlease quit talking so much
ОтветитьI really enjoyed ur reaction & interpretation of this song. I love their songs & videos; they have such beautiful souls. My daughter actually got me in2 them & I've been listening 2 them ever since. They r truly like brothers with Jin being the oldest & Jungkook being the youngest, it's amazing 2 c how much they've grown. Every single 1 of them were (& quite possibly r still) battling their inner demons as well as some of the hate & ridicule they've endured. I guess u could say they saved each other & that's the most beautiful thing.
ОтветитьINFO: The lyrics were suppose to be "I need you brother" if i recall however it didnt work with the song itself. Also there is 2 versions of this one with more ADULT content in it and also fits in with the BT Universe storyline as well.
ОтветитьThe Bangtan Universe story is about 7 friends who are a chosen family, just like BTS. The guys' fictional characters in the BU have the same names as them. I won't give spoilers, in case you become interested in exploring the BU yourselves, but the storyline is a mystery that unfolds in clues over years of time and over many medias including: MVs, song lyrics, album notes, books, short films, webtoons, their mobile game BTS World, and more. You may recall you were confused by some of the visuals in the Fake Love MV, like the candy, rushing water and flames. These and more were all BU related visual clues. The story is still ongoing, and we have been told we are getting a new BU installment when they all return in 2025. There is even a KDrama based on the BU now, called Youth: Begins.
ОтветитьYou said many things that were correct. Namjoon (RM) said in a live stream that the lyrics originally said I need you, friend, but it didn't fit the music well, so he changed it to I need you, girl. You were right though that it is about realisation that you need your friends. In the scenes where they are together, they are happier. In the scenes they are apart they are in very dark places.
It is very confusing coming into this video with no context but that is precisel what BTS did. No context given, at the release of the MV fans had no idea what it was about. This was the first showing of the fictional storyline, the Bangtan Universe or BU. The story was revealed a little at a time from MVs, notebooks, short stories, a Webtoon called Save Me and a mobile game, and it is still not finished. It is FICTIONAL, sorry to say it bluntly but because the characters use the members real names some people forget or get confused. Taehyung (V) did not really kill his father! Jin is the pivotal character. I do recommend watching the BU videos on order even if you are not following the story otherwise they are even more confusing. The next 2 are On Stage Prologue and Run (not to be confused with the song Run BTS).
BTS HYYH lore is my all time favorite. I’m saying this as an ARMY for 8 years. It remains superior
