Welcome to my world.
ОтветитьHonestly? I don't even want the Cossacks, I like the no favors system where you can call people in immediately
ОтветитьCould you do a guide for non dlc users cause I got the game not too long ago and getting to understand it is dreadful.all the guides say do this do thatbut when I look there, there's just missing buttons😢.I'm like just great, guess this is gonna be interesting doing it my way😅.
ОтветитьI remember playing like this way back at launch, without all the updates lol
ОтветитьI like how playing the Ottomans in 1444 feels like playing any Nation but in 1600 xD
ОтветитьIm sorry i demand you go back play no DLC as scotland, then as burgundy then as Bohemia and experience the true ironman hardships we no DLC players truely face, you scrub.
also you can Dev without DLC manualy ...
I play like this xd
Ответитьthis is why i'm a proud pirate
ОтветитьNow try playing without DLC in Asia.
ОтветитьWithout DLC Micromanagement is nearly impossible. Also the economy, technology, ideas and diplomatics are so much more of an pain.
One because many economy boosting events don't happen and you can't boost it that much since many applications don't exist. Also if you try to have fun clicking every single province to figure out if you should do develop it a bit for extrems costs... Meanwhile DLC players watch some beautiful tabels. Diplomatics - the whole annexation is sooooo inefficient, if I see people freeing some nation to gain claims and then reintegrate their vasall and interacting eith them to make thrm worthwhilr. I always think - nah not possible for me - thats btw the standard thinking I have to adapt - do I habe this DLC, do I can play that way etc. Also you get many worse leaders and can't push your diplo/mil/admin thats much. With China for example you have to often play with 1/1/1 leader (their leaders are insanely bad) and can just push it through crownland expense (btw without dlc also a pain) and +3 advisers. Thats then +7/7/7 so your tech lags behing while you can't buy institutions from someone else since they have to come to you so often you lag 4/5 levels behind the eurpean nations. Basocally if you play crap country be happy if ypu rank top 10. And Yeah thats also why you often don't even can think about ideas since you just don't get enough point, development is expensive and diplomacy dealing with different cultures, inflations etc is a lot harder. Game basically is through if you have 4 ideagroups. Also a lot of advantages against NPC states isn't possible since you don't have that many tricks up in your sleeve...
I always play without DLCs
ОтветитьЗашибись, контент который мы заслужили. Очередной мажор которому совесть позволила потратить 13 тысяч на игру со всеми дополнениями "поражается" тому, как вообще можно играть в Европу не платя цать тыщ.
ОтветитьPlaying any paradox interactive games with no dlc💀
ОтветитьNow play as Beloozero without any DLC
ОтветитьI just use the eu4 from steamunlocked it comes with all the dlcs for free
ОтветитьI actually used to play this game without DLC for a long time, and devving provinces were actually a DLC thing; JUST LIKE ESTATES! I'm actually really annoyed that they just added that to the game later, means the reason I bought their DLC was useless in the end.
Ответитьwait you can spawn institutions without dlcs?
ОтветитьIF you do this again, play as natives in the Americas or in Japan, they have actual mission trees (not that good but playable)
ОтветитьNo curry favors is brutal
ОтветитьWhich DLC would be the best? I am new to EU4
ОтветитьHow do you keep up with technology while also spawning institutions? I always get very behind with tech if I do that... (Then I get my ass whooped by somebody 3 techs ahead of me and with the same institution.
ОтветитьFirst time I played without dlcs
Then I downloaded DLCs (I don't have extra 400$ for DLCs) and can't play without them
This is so much more complicated than ck3
ОтветитьThe reconquest CB suprised me the most honestly
Ответитьhey how do I get my map look like his??
ОтветитьThe worst part is playing as vasal its so hard to break and not fun.
ОтветитьI play with the first seven DLC packs. I'm missing the last ten bc I don't have $150 to spend on a game I don't play nearly as much as I did back in the day when I was always up to date with DLC or even one or two behind. Watching your channel, I see I am missing out on so much when I play, but compared to this, I'd much rather have 5-10 of the DLCs (mix and match as you please) than none at all. Funny that only two are positively reviewed (El Dorado and Rule Britannia) and El Dorado is mostly positive bc of custom nations. The whole Treaty of Tordesillas mechanic in El Dorado doesn't even exist anymore (plus the fact they completely overhauled the mechanics it added). Nearly $300 for a ten-year-old game is ridiculous. Especially when so many of the mechanics of the older DLCs are obsolete due to the fine tuning of the game. I have a fine time playing with the $150 game I play but wish I could play the $300 version every time I boot it up. What Paradox really needs to do if EU5 isn't going to be released in the next three to five years is release EU4 Deluxe edition and EU4 Master edition (name them whatever). Deluxe would have all the major DLC included (basically the Empire Bundle) and updated graphics with a discount of $4 per DLC currently owned (if they could somehow do that) as to not piss off current users who bought all the DLCs. That would mean someone with all 17 main DLC would buy it for $12 just for the updated graphics and maybe an additional last update. And the Master Edition would be the same but with all the minor DLCs (basically the Ultimate Bundle) and updated graphics for $120, with the same discount for major DLCs, but a $2.50 discount for minor DLCs, meaning someone with everything would pay $14.50 for the updated graphics, a possible extra last update, and maybe some extra cosmetics/content packs limited only to people who buy the Master Edition. I honestly think it's a genius strategy to get people who have already sunken so much money into this game (but not as much as they could) to put even more money in. Paradox needs to hire me. The graphics update need not even be that intense. Just change the unit skins and take some notes from mods to make borders cleaner and change the look of a few of the map modes, specifically terrain, trade goods, and coalition.
ОтветитьPlaying with no dlcs after using the subscriptions for a while didn't feel that bad, granted I didn't use every feature but the only one I keep wishing I had was the favors stuff
ОтветитьIt looks like EU4, specially the first releases version is pretty much like EU3, which makes it very annoying in many ways, for example, every province having a fort. At least the EU4 updated base game removed some of these things.
ОтветитьI learned a few weeks ago(EU4 was free on Epic) how bad this is and how much stuff that feels basic is NOT in the base game!
Ответитьwitout dlc aztec is rly nice 20years 4k gold in reserve:) and almost got mexico area mid lvl playd
Ответитьyou will not feel my pain
ОтветитьPlaying EU4 With NO DLCs Was A MISTAKE: And at the end of your video you recommend buying it without DLC, as is not a problem and the fun factor is very similar to the version with ALL dlc's. Shouldn't you change the title? ;) Anyway, thanks for your review!
Ответитьi play with no dlc's all day
ОтветитьTrade companies are a DLC. Need I say more?
ОтветитьThis is why I play with Europa Expanded at all times
ОтветитьTesting updates must be so difficult. Who knows what combinations of dlc's people are using.
ОтветитьPirating the DLCs is very easy thankfully
ОтветитьNow play a hard nation without dlc
ОтветитьThis is why i hate Paradox Games and wont play them anymore. If your game is a half baked barebones mess without the paid optional content your game is shit.
I used to play EU4 but then realised i can produce far better alternate history scenarios with Microsoft Paint. That was an eye opener. I dont need to give away my life savings to have some mediocre fun.
Playing byz with no dlc is horrible, they don't have any of the features to get them back on their feet
ОтветитьYall all Talk about embracing the black flag, but can someone actually be more specific how you do this please ?
ОтветитьI have never played with any DLC either. Currently playing an ironman game. Started as Venice and formed Italy and I think that I can form Roman Empire before the end date. The game is really fun!
ОтветитьI pøay eu3 since i'm too poor for 4, this seams like heven
ОтветитьI got eu4 for free from epic games same with civ 6. Both games had no Dlcs, and really hated playing them even tho i like strategy games. I love eu4 but without dlcs its so lacking and dreadful
ОтветитьThis feels like playing an old version of minecraft
ОтветитьLike if you only play with the free dlcs
👇 (Forcing 😐)
As someone who plays without dlc's I think than you guys are picky
Ответить
