Does flamestorm still bounce off of buildings or cliffs in sieges/settlement battles?

Was playing a match. Lines had hit. Son told me to drop burning head. I said no! Flame storm time! It went into my army and rampaged through my lines, deleting three units. It was a most deserved “told you so” moment.

Its too bad that flamestorm also happened against Hooman boy favourite faction the Wood Elfs

Overcast flame storm plus scroll of haste = two whole minutes of flame storm ruining someone’s day in the back line

gonna start taking this to cast in the middle of opponents units just to make them micro like a SOB for 2 minutes trying to dodge the damn thing

I'm not sure if 20+ or whatever winds of magic is worth the disruption of the army. It's a big investment to what is effectively rolling a dice and hoping it lands on six, more often then not it's loaded to land on 1 or 2, either no damage or some damage.

Why take flamestrom when Pit of Shades is there?
Most races that have Lore of Fire also have access to Lore of Shadows (with the exception of, i guess Lizardmen.)

And even after the nerfs, Pit is good, and randomness just doesn't doesn't cut it in PvP

Ahah perfect timing to speak about it.
Yesterday i casted one on a HUGE blob of ennemy held by like 3 of my chaos warriors. The flamestorm immediatly left the blob to the cloesest empty space, then travelled in circle around the blob till it reached the right extremety of my chaos warrior line... then went straight into the formation and legit went across the 3 units of chaos warriors without touching the ennemy blob.
Still gonna cast this spell in the future because i liek fire.

Ok the delivery here was brilliant.

There good in siege battles because they bounce off and along walls!

Why did they take away vortex aiming? It's like half of the spells now are useless so we are back to only using burning head

When you use a flaming skull directly into an enemy line perfectly placed and it just ravaged through 5 of your battalions killing all of them and doing next to no damage to the enemy
