Awesome shot! I think after editing, the natural light shot looks a bit better, but the RAWs were the other way around. It is really interesting how the strobe separated them from the background. It gives it a cool look. Thanks!

Can't understand why you "hate" pocket wizards. 100% reliable. My biggest concern in these photographs is the distance the couple has between them. I shoot professionally and I believe getting the couples close is the only way to go. Perhaps if they were holding hands...

lol.  they must be brother and sister.  They got 4 feet in between them.

Flash was too blown out, shadow under her chin... I'll take the natural light

What radio triggers do you use now? Can the 560s do HSS with your camera with the right trigger?

If you'd just compensated your flash with 1 or 1 1/3 stops down, the flash one would be awesome. I'd also bring some shadows up on her face on the natural light one.

It's a nice photo and all with the flowers etc. However, I just find that for an engagement shoot, there is absolutely no connection between the couple. I think even if they were closer together it would be a much better shot.

Natural light one definitely better. Off camera flash one just looks unnatural to me. Almost looks like they are in front of a green screen instead of in the actual surroundings. Good vid.

what transceiver you are using right now? since you said you hate PW (lol). I'm planning to get something aside from PW as well

I'm confused. Is this a Lightroom tutorial or about Photography? If anyone has an off-camera flash they can very quickly see how it changes the naturally lit scene (the LCD on the back of the camera. Doh?) and you don't really go into any technical details so I'm struggling to see the point of this vid. Sorry.

Flash looks too hot to me and you broad lit her. Doesn't seem like the best set up to me.

It's subjective but natural light for me. check out my instagram @vmportraitnretouching. they're all naturally lit. no reflectors.

I hope this is not the best shot of those 4 hours ? The couple are dressed very casually, like they are going to the beach and they are standing far from eachother, like they were strangers

Dreadful, no connection between the couple and very overcooked.
