Goliath Grouper Spawning - MG 111 Wreck 8.18.18

Amazing dive with Jupiter Dive Center (great folks to dive with!) on the MG-111 barge wreck.

Each and every year during late Summer, early Fall, Goliath Groupers spawn offshore in this part of Florida. The depth to the sand is about 60 feet here. There was a crazy thermocline at about 55 feet that dropped the water temperature from 80F down to 63F - I was glad my frozen hands were able to capture these incredible creatures on video.
