How to Mulch Plants, Shrubs, and Ornamental Trees

When you’re mulching an ornamental tree or shrub our simple three step process is explained in the video:

1 - Put down a barrier layer to help smother any weeds.
2 - Add an extra layer (5-10cm deep) of wood chippings to hold the barrier layer in place.
3 - Make sure the top layer is not touching the trunk of the tree.
