ОтветитьI can think of one place that one made CEO, then promoted his friend from a way lower to a manager. Then, the new manager fired several supervisors and made his friends supervisors. One he gave a cushy foreperson spot. Then, when the CEO moved up few years later,he went up too. New CEO, then managers get fired, and next door neighbors get manager positions. One manager even let go a few supervisors and hired from old workplace.
ОтветитьNepotism 1.0
ОтветитьI sorta had the reverse of this happen where my grandmother works at a medical practice and sorta mentioned to hr that i was looking for a job, i put in an application for the lowest rung of the office, interviewed really well. Litterally the only thing my grandma did was ask “hey he’s been waiting two weeks, the heck is going on?” Had to do that twice until finally a friend of hers told her that they didn’t wanna seem like they were hiring nepotism wise. //p.s this was also loosely the year she was retiring.
ОтветитьNepo hires are the worst.
ОтветитьTake her to corporate
ОтветитьI had this happen to me and karma helped me out.
The store manager hired her daughter to an assistant manager position that I had been training for 2 years to take over. The place was privately owned and the owners 3 sons were the regional managers. One day about a year or so this all happened one of the regionals was in and hes in the office going thru orders and hes asking me questions about why this was ordered or why we only ordered a low quantity of something. Im still a supervisor and my answer was that all my orders go thru new assistant and things get changed. Everything’s signed off on so it’s clear I dont submit the final order.
I do have all the orders I have submitted before changes and would be happy to show them to you.
He says thats not needed and calls the assistant in for a chat.
I got this next bit from a friend in HR.
He started grilling her on how to do thing’s, how to do orders. How to know whats trending and how much or little to order. He showed her how much money is lost by ordering wrong and then started asking her detailed questions about her job. She could not answer anything. She had no skills beyond the basic needed and she never had to close or open on her own.
He called HR in and asked how she was hired for a job she was so obviously unqualified for.
Hr said store manager hired her.
Well to wrap this up there was a big investigation and a lot of policies were not being followed which ultimately led to a lot of retraining at our store. We ended up with a completely new management team and I eventually took a management position at a different company.
Worked out great for me. Ive moved up over the years and the other company got hurt bad by covid and went out of business in 2024
See, that's why people don't feel bad for managers, CEOs, etc. when they meet their Luigi
ОтветитьNEPO BABYS SUCK! They're never even close to qualified for the position
Ответитьit’s giving ✨nepotism✨
ОтветитьDina is the best savage. 🖤
ОтветитьIt's not what you know, it's who you know, and so on.
ОтветитьPeople genuinely confused by her behavior or the policy, get it out the way now please.
ОтветитьThis is y even if its a company u can never work for family. It always looks bad even if this guy was the most qualified and deserved the job nobody will ever respect him or think he earned it no matter what he does. Its not good for company, its not good for the boss, its not good for the guy u promote, and its not good for employees. Its just always a bad idea all around.
ОтветитьAmy caught her snorting coke and blackmaild her into firing blaine, and she got the job lol
ОтветитьGot fired for some bullshit at a company called " The Cutting Edge" in Mt,Vernon MO. Next day, the owners daughter's boyfriend had my job. No qualifications at all. I worked on a fuji dual spindle automatic lathe. Hope he's still in one piece lol.
ОтветитьThat’s my company, I applied for supervisor position, they hired the boss nephew instead, he has no experience whatsoever, fresh out of school, they didn’t even interview anyone who applied for it
Ответитьnep
ОтветитьWHAT SHOW IS THIS???
ОтветитьName of the show?
ОтветитьWhat this show called ???
ОтветитьNepotism runs wild in so many industries and politics.
ОтветитьAA she sounds so much like Artemis from young justice😭😭
ОтветитьThis is more racist against white people
ОтветитьAtleast amy walked in on her snorting some coke and blackmailed her way into that manager spot 😂
ОтветитьCall Michael Myers, we need a new manager
ОтветитьI hate to say this but this needs to be illegal in America just because someone has a friend does not give them the permission to give them a position of higher status they should work from the bottom and make the way up like the rest of us.
ОтветитьGuess this place dosen't have rule that if there's family there one of them can't be in a position of power.
ОтветитьMy old store used to hire people as managers and then be shocked when the employees that had been there for over a decade got pissed and left
ОтветитьCompanies should not condone nepotism
ОтветитьWhat's the show called ???
ОтветитьOk, this lady has no spine😂
ОтветитьNepo baby
ОтветитьName??
ОтветитьIt's actually pronounced "noy-stat" 😂
ОтветитьThis is why corporations are failing. Incompetents by family only hiring.
ОтветитьImmigrants do that all the time california is ruined
ОтветитьDidn't she act un Barbie??
ОтветитьA company I worked for was expanding and needed a new area manager, so I applied. I was interviewed by the regional manager and someone from head office and even though it was a good interview I didn't get the job. A couple of years later another area manager job came up and I applied, interviewed by the same regional manager and again didn't get the job. Then it happened a third time. The person who did get the job was fired a few months later and came to see me. Turned out the regional manager was very intimidated by me (my shop was small but was the most profitable in the area) so had decided I wasn't going any higher. Apparently, the first interview that I'd had, the chap from head office wanted to give me the job. Problem was, she'd already told a friend of hers that she was getting it. Head office guy deferred to her decision after she slept with him.
ОтветитьAfter reading the sixth book in the Red Rising series, I’ll never hear the term “17-B” the same way ever again. It was like a sleeper agent awoke in me when she said it
ОтветитьShe got her cloud 9 lawyer 😂
ОтветитьOMG I JUST REALIZED SHES THE VOICE OF ASTRID
ОтветитьOne of my managers hired her son, not as another manager or anything. Just another wage slave but it was so funny. Dude was so hopeless he just got shuffled around departments but he was getting rostered heaps more hours than other people due to mom. mom manager took Long service leave a while ago and I haven’t seen her son in store since 😂😂😂. She’s since retired and I believe the son went with her
ОтветитьThis is how it is at the branch I work at. Everyone there except 2 ppl is related to someone else there, and 90% of ppl not in management go to church where the big boss is a pastor.
ОтветитьThis is so true. Lots of my team leads at my grocery store for front end either quit or got fired. I tried my best and worked really hard to become our team lead, only for them to hire young girls who had way less experience than me, who when hired as team lead, would talk to me and ask me questions on how to do their job which is a position I had never been in before, but knew lots about because of my dedication and detail.
ОтветитьPlus that's favortism. Shouldn't be happening at the workplace.
ОтветитьI work in a jail. Not retail. The assistant wardens daughter, son-in-law, grandson in law, and the son in laws dad all work here. They have been promoted and moved around so many times that I’ve lost count. Nepotism is everywhere. And for the record, we are corporate and there’s no rule preventing it
ОтветитьThis just happened to my husband. Manager hired his close friend in a high up more pay position he isnt trained for at all while my husband had all the training for it and had been doing the job but never given the title. He learned why.
ОтветитьThis is more common than you think. Companies don’t care about you. They’re gonna do whatever they want. And more often than not it’s amazing how bad management can destroy good employees. I’ve never quit a job. I quit management.
