meatball ---> maple
ОтветитьI don’t think I’ve ever met a meatball I didn’t like but these look particularly delicious.
ОтветитьWhat if you don’t eat beef?..😮
ОтветитьIn Chinese this is call 狮子头,definitely a staple dish in huge banquets. Thanks for showing the recipe Queen Marion, very appreciate it!
Ответитьmeatball this is indonesian food not chinese :D
ОтветитьChinese dimsum with a thai twist thats wow
Ответитьthe traditional method after you mixed the meat together is to use a pair of chopsticks to stir the meat in one direction ( whether counter or clock wise,.doesnt matter), until the meat has become sticky, silky and smooth. You can add a bit water to help stirring. You shouldnt smash the meat that much as it will make the meat harder and not tender.
ОтветитьYum yum yum!!!!!!
Ответить跟中国狮子头毫无关系。就是小肉球
ОтветитьYummm
ОтветитьI love the aluminum foil ring use for steaming! Will definitely use!
ОтветитьI saw these made with Chinese cabbage nestled between meatballs, so it looks like lion’s mane, which is where the name comes from.
ОтветитьI really wish I was one of those people who can eat anything with coriander and not die.
ОтветитьLion head comes from the Nappa cabbage that is steamed with the meat balls. The cabbage forms the lion's mane.
ОтветитьIt’s late night here already, and I made a mistake watching this 😫
You always make me hungry, Marion 💕 I tried to make your Spicy Korean Soup and I swear, that’s the best I’ve had.
I am definitely making these.
Ответитьnow this i can make !
ОтветитьI guess the lion's head reference came from the fact that the meatballs are steamed settled between cabbage leaves, so when steamed it appears like the mane of a lion
Ответитьare you half chinese? just curious
ОтветитьThis should be good!!! 😋
Ответитьwow, these look amazing!
ОтветитьLove these ‘BALLS’... TENNIS BALL SIZE should do it MARION??? 🧐🤔🤗
Ответитьtime to unsubscribe. She is trying too hard, music too loud, too many slomos...this is a COOKING channel, please stop competing for an art award..traditional lionshead comes in broth with cabbage, what is the reason that you call these lionshead???? Could not be further from reality. Suppose it sounds good???
.
Delicious!!! Thank you
ОтветитьMarion, I made your meatballs today, with all beef, Bc that’s all I had on hand and they still turn out amazing. So soft and juicy. Thanks again for recipe.
ОтветитьI just made a dish that had that much ginger in it, I was disappointed at how much the ginger overwhelmed the taste. Is their another root like galangal that has a milder flavor. Never had it and want your opinion as to whether it would be worth the cost of $5.99 a bag.
ОтветитьHello, I just came across this video...just wondering....would you say these are like the beef meatballs that one eats at dim sum? thanks
ОтветитьThat looks good
ОтветитьMarion, I can't stop watching your videos. I love every one of them. I love your mom's Mama Noi's too! Thank you so much for sharing your techniques. It's all about techniques. It is pure joy watching your shows. I'm going out now to purchase some Chinese cooking wine you always talk about.
ОтветитьWhenever you mention soya, do you then mean light soya sauce or dark?
ОтветитьThis video is awful with it's silly side shot camera work. Pretty sure you don't have an audience. The background music is horrible. Unwatchable.
Ответитьi cannot touch a steaming pan. she is a superhuman
ОтветитьCan you make ahead and warm and serve next day?
Ответить⁰p
ОтветитьGreat menu
ОтветитьI made these today. When rolling them into balls if the mixture sticks to your hands and doesn't take shape, apply some oil onto your palms.
ОтветитьHello, love the recipe, I don't see Corn flour in the recipe link, do i still add?
Ответитьaluminium foil idea is brilliant - I live in the south of France and I've been waiting for months for our Asian supermarket in Beziers to get more stock of bamboo steamers. I would never have thought of that.
BTW, have you ever thought of telephoning the Police to get them to find who stole your breasts?
Whoops, sorry!
R.
could you use for the kneading the Kitchen aid bread hook? for how long?
Ответитьeven if other people have said it,... great videos ... good recipes, excellent explanations and I love your gestures and your RED LIPSTICK ;)
ОтветитьI AM LOVE MEAT BALL.😛😝😜😷👏👌👍😎😋😋😋😋
ОтветитьThe lion's head is the surrounding garnish of blanched bok choi draped around the edge of the plate.
ОтветитьWow that plate was not hot ??? Omg are you human ??? Lol
ОтветитьAwesome recipe!
ОтветитьSo tiny! Are they lion cubs?? 😹
ОтветитьHi Marion. Please share a pork meat ball soup with vegetables
ОтветитьWetting hands before mixing, lol
ОтветитьIs there more than one type or style of lions head meal balls? Because those are different from what i was taught to make in the cooking classes i took and the ones i enjoyed eating when out which where braised in and aromatic stock not steamed?
Ответить
