I think the biggest problem we have in this country is that the annual government budget is read before the finance bill is table in parliament, what I am saying is , The finance bill should be table before the budget is read to give room for amendment. Ideally, what I understand from the video is that everyone in the guy's family feels sorry for him because his father introduced him to alcohol. He got addicted to alcohol from a young age & his brain was rewired to depend on alcohol. Ideally, we as humans should not engage in alcohol/substance abuse below the age of 25 before the brain fully develops. So that would explain why it's hard for him to stop. Ideally, he should try to replace his alcoholic habits with new habits that are productive, useful & give him meaning. Something like an extracurricular activity to take up some responsibility for his life. He probably received a lot of love from home which is okay without taking up any responsibility & discipline from an early age. That's my subjective opinion.😅

I don't usually comment on videos, but this story is too close to home. I would like to say this, usually high levels of alcohol (drugs) intake and it's dependency is an indicator that there are deeper mental and spiritual issues that need to be identified and worked through. From experience, this issues may have started before introduction to the substance that led to it's abuse or during the time of its abuse. And now the pleasure one gets from the effects helps you forget or numb the pain of the issue. The best solution to this albeit it takes time and you have to be committed to the process is God. Once you are born again and you begin to work through the issues in your life with God in the picture , those issues get solved once and for all. Psychologically you create new pathways in your brain to deal with issues that may otherwise overwhelm you and you find healthier ways to deal with them. Christ is the answer to our spiritual issues. Also don't forget addiction and substance abuse among many other vices is the enemy's way of keep you disconnected from what gives and brings meaning to our lives which is God. I must say, once I understood how these things affect us mentally, spiritually and physically through Christ, you will never let the enemy have even a lick of playing field in your life ever again. I hope this is of help to Timo and others and I will keep you in my prayers. May God have mercy on you and save from the enemy's snare that you may overcome the bondage of alcohol and any other drug and you may experience total freedom in Him. In Jesus name, Amen.
