I have the problem that when i sing higher, my voice gets more soft and i can't raise the volume
ОтветитьI have a high note like a whistle but i can't repeat it sometimes when I needed it like singing from low to high.. i really need an exercise..
ОтветитьPub band singer here. Just had my third hernia op' yesterday. I blame Black Dog.
ОтветитьHI
Could you break down Story of my Life by One Direction i want to learn how to sing it better i've sung it myself many times but i cant really get it right maybe if you break it down i might be able to improve my singing
Thank you
Bro when I hit puberty I lost my high note ability completely
ОтветитьThe exercises were great of course, but i still didnt get what exactly i should be doing to not go to falsetto
ОтветитьWhere am I supposed to be feeling the resonance as I go up to the high notes? Should the resonance go up in to my head and forward in to the mask? Thanks
ОтветитьAs a well trained vocal student, I agree. The voice must be free and moving. In classical singing, achieving this is traditionally done with covering/mask technique. Keeping a tower shape from the nose to the jaw, going upwards, prevents us from raising the larynx and squeezing the vowels. I feel I have benefitted from this in musical theatre singing, but some times people shame me for this because my vibrato is “too operatic”.
ОтветитьIm good with low low notes but now i can sing the "DREAM ONNN DREAM ONN DREAM ON"
Ответитьi live with other people so i can't really use much volume. if i hit a high note its usually heavily mixed and thin but i feel like if i put more power / air into it then it would sound nice. is this something that happens or is volume not really a constraint ?
ОтветитьEver since I started puberty I forgot how to use head voice, it has been a falsetto for the longest time, before this year I suddenly remembered how to do it and now can reach the soprano high C, kinda unusable
ОтветитьThis guy is great I love it
ОтветитьTHANK YOU
ОтветитьSo, I have a similar problem when I’m moving in to mixed voice that it sounds like you do. I didn’t used to have this problem but it seems to have developed over the last year. When I belt I sound a bit brassy or something. It’s worse when I use vibrato. I haven’t seen anyone else talking about this being a thing that develops in a trained voice and I don’t know what to do to correct it. I can sing comfortably well above this range, but when using mixed voice to belt it just has this grating brassy texture. It’s kind of cringe. Please help!
ОтветитьWell, I’m 14, puberty has killed my high notes and well, I sound like The RMS Olympics whistle. Google it. It’s deep. I cannot sing certain notes. It’s just air. Air. No sound, air. Run outta steam pressure, and then when I run out of air, it sounds like an opera singer, but only for a second. Then it’s back at square one.
ОтветитьBut if you are a low baritone?
ОтветитьYou sound so sophisticated when you speak haha
ОтветитьI keep going into falsetto on the high end of the "ney" exercise, and when I try not to, I start sounding like a dying goat, and my throat hurts dammit.
Ответитьwho watched this and so meany others and still is the same
ОтветитьI am a baritone. Recently I tried to sing One Direction songs :
1. Story of My Life
2. What Makes You Beautiful
In the 1st strong, actually I could sing the refrain part all with full-voice, but it needs good stamina due to the long sequence of the part.
Whereas in the 2nd song, I could only sing some parts of the refrain with full-voice.
I feel mixed voice won't fit those parts if it is applied.
Please sir I need some help in my voice..I sound better in my head than when I record it
ОтветитьThats not the high im searching for, im talking about around 6th octave for males
ОтветитьYou are totally right about everything you say in this video !! Top !!!!!
ОтветитьSir Ramsey. Such good instruction. You give the why and that makes following your instruction with confidence easy.
ОтветитьI just wrote a song recently about a guy that I liked who didn't like me back. I'm normally an alto, but I made the song hard to sing 'cause it starts low and then it goes high. So it's around the mezzo range which I'm trying to get better at. These exercises are helpful! Thank you so much! 🥰
ОтветитьThanks always for the help ever since Sir Ramsey!
ОтветитьCan someone help me please anyone. If I try to relax my muscles in my throat my voice goes hoarse and starts to sound raspy and it sounds terrible but it I tighten my muscles it sounds cleanish and I can go higher. And also when I try to sing mix voice I go higher in my chest voice but then I breaks and voice cracked then goes to the strong voice that I can sing very high and very loud feels like my chest voice but a lot higher. I’m guessing this is my mix voice but switching from chest to mic is not smooth and makes a pause and cracks for a second
Ответитьradiohead!
ОтветитьThis scary thing from beginning of the video will come to me in nightmares 0_0
Ответитьit soud like youre saying a bad and discusting word in the philipines when you reapeat ki
ОтветитьI still don’t get it hahaha
Ответитьhow about low notes
ОтветитьIf you say "noi" instead of "nay" you may be Australian.
ОтветитьOver produced garbage.
ОтветитьMy range is F2~F4 i cant sing male songs😭😭
ОтветитьYou remind of two well trained music vocalists I studied with in my youth, who addressed these same techniques. You want to stay on top of the note, to avoid going flat which comes with practice, and clear them with natural ease, as you've mentioned, to avoid breaks
ОтветитьCan u give me an advice, I can hit e3 but whenever I try to sustain it sounds kinda breathy/not good. Also I don’t fell any strain. Help please
ОтветитьIt's so hard to learn singing when you know you can't do it alone, but so much advice is contradicting and not consistent across all teachers, my teacher said raising the eyebrows is good because it "raises your soft palette" this man says it doesn't nothing, my teacher says to sing with a wide mouth, this other guy says to keep it small. It's so hard to know who to listen to, when you can't do it yourself and it's such a elusive skill to learn
ОтветитьPuberty killed my high notes.
ОтветитьBro I’m one of those people who’s NOT A FAN of their voice. I’m a teen girl who’s at that age where my voice is “changing”? And my chest voice is to raspy and whiny, but my head voice isn’t loud enough and it’s too strained and high
ОтветитьNice video you explained the right way to do it and make me improved a lot in my singing :)
ОтветитьThank you for this video, i have been trying to sing the ballad of jane doe from ride the cyclone and this will help me be able to hit those high notes better ☺
ОтветитьThis has not helped me at all, thank you!
ОтветитьHa, nay (written nee) is 'no' in Dutch. So all I hear is no no no no no no no 😆
ОтветитьLove from India 🇮🇳
