ОтветитьGreat idea
ОтветитьHey Geoff, Great video! I enjoy this type of video. It's fun seeing how other photographer do what we do... Sad that work has to get in the way of things....! Though you made a great video before heading out. Your European Robins are very cool. We have the American Robin here in the US. Much larger and way different in color. Wow! Magpie in your garden very cool. Fun footage form the Wildlife cam as well.I also enjoy time in my popup hide in the garden, something peaceful about it if the neighborhood is quite... Very cool... Looking for the next one! Saying hey... Greg
ОтветитьAmazing love your videos!
Ответитьcool , it`s great.
Ответить...hallo...!
...nice video...!
...because i have my own fulltime business...(i have a driving school)...this is mostly the way i photograph birds...;)
...in my little garden...
...i not use a tent...just sit there waiting...
...sometimes i photograph shy birds through the garden window...
...in every minute i find time in the morning or evening...
...(d850 and z6 200-500+ 180mm ais f2,8 + tc14a)...
...planing to buy the 300vrii soon...
...because it is usable even for travelling by aircraft in the handbag...
...good wishes from germany...

Very interesting movie. Don't always have to travel that far to find motives. Lovely shots!
Wish you a wonderful new week.
Best regards, Knut.
Canny set up Geoff, I have a tank cammo net that I throw over the garden seat, it's a good set up with the tripod and the kettle so close 👍
ОтветитьThanks Geoff, another great video:-)
ОтветитьEnjoyed the video, good selection of birds.
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this! So much fun to see the song birds in your area. Your Robins do not look much like ours (Iowa) - such fun! Your blind looks like it worked great and omg! - loved, loved the hedgehog! So cute! Very foreign to me! Thank you!
ОтветитьI bet that you'll be much more likely to catch hawks and other raptors that prey on those critters with that setup... really clever! Some great footage.
ОтветитьDo you have a video on the tripod head? Would like to know more about it, your set up and how it compares to a Wimberley or other such heads.
Ответить300mm f2.8 really awesome!
ОтветитьHi! I've just found your channel. You've got a fantastic intro. Thanks for sharing the idea of a hide in the garden. Very nice images. I'll appreciate it if you visit my wildlife channel and sub back if you like my wildlife videos. Greetings from Poland.
ОтветитьNice video of common but beautiful birds! Your tent looks a bit more stable and tougher than mine does 😀
I hope you find a good place to put it up so I can watch more good videos 😊
Some stunning birds and shots there! I usually get sparrows, Robins, long tailed, great and blue tits as well as jackdaw, Rooks, starlings, dunnock and wren. Oh and pigeons and doves as well. If I am really lucky Red kite and Buzzard sometimes fly over and of an evening the barn owl :)
ОтветитьNice video, did you shoot in Auto ISO, cheers, Ian
ОтветитьGreat video as usual! Since you've been using the 500mm PF, how has that changed your usage of the 300mm F2.8?
ОтветитьDo it again with a speedlight or two. The light is not good. The little birds get a little bit scared if the speedlights are very close to them, but they get used to. Try it.
