As we stop and reflect today in remembering the 911 tragedy, we pray for the eternal memory of all lives lost, including those Orthodox Christians which were taken during the greatest attack in history on the United States of America.
As America rebuilds, The Community of Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Church takes pride in participating in the reconstruction efforts of the Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church which is to be located at Ground Zero in New York City.
Please find below the link to a short video narrated by Father Evagoras Constantinides, who offers explanation of the new Saint Nicholas National Shrine and its symbolism of importance to all people, as well as Orthodox Christians: “That even in the face of tragedy, there is hope and life. There is Resurrection!”
May God bless and protect you, always!
