There are very few accidental pregnancies today if people are not throwing caution to the wind. What they are defending is abortion as a form of birth control for irresponsible people. Safe legal and rare was the original argument to get their foot in the door to allow abortion. When was the last time you heard the phrase safe legal and rare in the context of this subject.
