Love your interviews! You never know what sort of stories you hear, whether they're funny or sad or moving or informative or whatever. This particular interview was kind of personal to me because I also have had eye issues. A couple years before the pandemic I started having a harder and harder time seeing things. I've been very nearsighted since my teens, so I didn't really think much of it at first. But it was getting to the point of having a hard time driving at night or during rainy weather. I finally went to an eye doctor and he told me I had developed severe cataracts in both eyes. I was 48 at the time, far younger than normal for that condition. Luckily, I have good insurance from work and was able to have cataract surgery and I now have pretty decent vision, good enough that I no longer really need eyeglasses, though it's not perfect vision. But those depressing thoughts of what's going to happen if I'm legally blind definitely went through my head for months. I thank my lucky stars that everything turned out well and that I had good insurance. It just further points out how effed up our healthcare system is here in the US. So many folks here wouldn't have had the resources to get the surgery. It's awesome that it all turned out good for Ms. Kova. And it is now time for me to search for a certain set of large boobies on the interwebs...

It's good to be able to use platforms like this to speak our truths. Especially our truths of being "the outsider/ not "normal" / neuro-divergent/ unique" Kudos to her for speaking out like this! I'm a 33 year old white-washed Candian-born Chinese guy with a white guy voice when I speak. I hope to one day be able to speak my truth like this, and just do it. I mean I'm genetically male so males who watch this are on the side interested in these vids as we watch pornography of female entertainers. On the other side we are appreciating these narratives on a humanistic level trying to understand each other as actual people.
