"Obj. 430 II" Buff in 1.26.0: Still Weak? | World of Tanks

Only way I've managed to get this to work is to trick people into shooting the side while side scraping and taking advantage of the dpm. The Obj 416 is far worse imo though. Its camo says snipe, but its gun says good luck hitting anything.

its not even close to avrage lvl, hull and turret armour is awful gun is made in china ok-dpm accuracy is bad mobilty is avrage no gun depression - still the worst med in tier 9 oh I didnt mention this tank burns and explodes like a lot... there is no point in grinding this tank when tanks like T-54/Ob.430 exists

I had a blast playing with this tank, It has very good DPM and if you don't have a loser mindset you can make this tank work really well. I would give it 4 stars

Hands down my favorite tank from the K91 line

This is a bad tank. I like k91 a lot, this was a stinker. I had higher average damage in a44

I played a few games and gave up. Oh well, I'll just have to continue playing the Leo 1

Although this tank is not strong, it’s hard to get Ace tanker. 5k dmg and 1k spotting only for 2nd class.

i found the best way to play 430 II and 416 is as a TD, specially the 416

Grinding this after the buffs was SO painful I eventually used free XP and spent gold to get through it to the tier X. This tank is total garbage!

I ground out the 430 II just before the K-91 was released and honestly, never felt it was as bad as seems to be the consensus.

I agree that this is not one of the best tier 9 tanks in the game but I would say it is average at best. I somehow was able to make this tank work by mostly spotting and doing some damage. I had one very good game in ghost town where I finished with 8k combined (unfortunately it was a draw) My most played tank is the stg/guard which is kind of the same but I would rather play that and I would even say it is better even though it's a whole tier lower. At least the buffs made it playable now..

It's still trash on 95% of all the maps

The stock grind is awful, but I find that using its low profile to peek behind shallow objects works really well

Again skill misses out the strength of this tank. It has very good camo, good viewrange. You have to utiize both. And even in cities its ok. Turret can bounce shots here and there. With the back turret you can easily play peak a boo in cities as well. DPM is good, heat pen is very good. Overall tank is absolute ok in my view. In Hill areas its not good at all as gun depression is horrible. This is largest disadvantage of this tank.

The 430 II is "balanced" like it has armor(i.e. slower, lower camo, etc) but doesn't have enough armor to justify the negatives. It'll always be less than competitive.

Cheers! Didn't end up buying this back after playing the K-91. It is average at best, mainly because the tank is laying down. You feel like a little person that can't reach the counter top, or even see it. Most of this game is made for tanks to be a certain height and go hull down. So you have to sidescrape everywhere and then everyone can shoot engine deck. I usually love tds that can play as mediums or mediums that play as tds but this was a nightmare.
So was the 416, bloody awful.

When WG buffs Patton the Tank, you're going to have to eat your words, sir. All it needs is gun handling, reload, speed, armor, and a smaller cupola. That's it! If you don't look at the gun or the turret or the hull, it's a fantastic tank.

This tank was fun back in the days when it had armor and it was a brawler

Fully rotatable turret is a massive buff and the gun now is feeling fine but I would say that 430-II is still not competitive in tier 9 by any means.

I remember rage selling this tank twice before I quit playing the game lol

The biggest pain is the nonexistent gun depression, every molehill turns you in to an AA gun.

Just an uptiered 416, lackluster.

I need to be honest i just played the tank to access the k91. At the beginning I struggled to play the tank but i learned to to play it. With the full rotateable turret you can peak backwards and 330 is nice. I often drove with the heavys in the city, sidescreap and use the dpm.

I'm in 80% win rate and the only thing I hate is the horrible power to weight ratio.
even the turbo is not enough, so I simply don't use turbo.

so that means that the past few days some like to get tortured , as i see many 430-II past few days !

With this tank I always was rushing heavies and shot them with 330hit

This tank used to be complete garbage and now, despite the buffs, is kind of "normal" garbage. On a more positive note, this is a tank for players who've seen it all in the game, are looking for both a challenge and a bit of a change, or sadomasochists.

I grinded this tank after the buffs full stock and obj416 was played before and after the buffs. stock object 416 was one of the most horid gaming experiences i've ever had, however when it was fully upgraded, with decent crew and equipment it became playable, since it has speed,god tier camo and heats, with the top configurations despite of the major weaknesses of low profile combined with small gun depression. I thought object 430 II can not be worse(especially since it got buffed) only to realize that unfortunately is indeed one of worse tier 9 tanks in the game, i would go even far as to say i would rather play patton the tank since, i am able to play more positions and have more impact to the games. Stock experience was ok for me,compared to 416, however this tank is lackluster even with bounty equipment and top crew. it is a t54 with rear turret, bad armor, awfull gun depression, unreliable accuracy over distance and insignificant alpha damage, where pure dpm doesnt compensate really. what is really killing this tank is -4 gun depression and the absence of both armor and agility. I get along very well with sniper tanks and i am able to trade hitpoints towards the end of the game, however this tank is not able to excel at anything except of good camo. To my eyes this is a bad turreted td that can only play certain positions on maps. K 91 is a menace, but if you are an average/good player like me, i highly suggest you to avoid playing these tanks, since there is a very high chance you will lose your sanity

Tbh I have enjoyed playing the 416 in the past. I did unlock the 430.2 but never bought it.

This tank to me, feels like a bad Strv. K91 however seems crazy good.

Honestly the gun is quite decent, crazy dpm, sub 6 sec reload so permatracking is possible, it has nice camo 35% but only 5% when on the move. If you keep that in mind and know how to craft some gundepression with rocks or other debris it plays quite well. Was pleasently surprised playing it.

The tank doesn't have enough alpha. When in comparison to the gun handling and tier. It should have atleast 390 base gun damage.
