There's definitely a market for this kind of earbud. I just don't think any opey wn ear earbud should be $180.

Where, exactly is your $179 going? Why wouldn't you just get a $60 pair of in-ear earbuds and use transparency mode when you need it?

Tesla grade is strange.
It's good that they're trying incorporate more bass into open earbuds.
Ipx5 is cool, but they can get into ipx7 especially with the factor that they don't use noise cancelling or ambient mode features.

These seems to be less performant than the 1More S50 which is IPX 7 and has Chi Wireless Charging and wear sensors. Why pay more for the S70?

2024 and no volume control!? I pretty much stopped caring about these after hearing about the lack of volume control

1More is appropriately named because you are always left feeling like you are missing just 1More control on their products.

* Hmmmmm?...Now I'm no expert so I'm about to let my ignorance flow here. I need to know does these "OPEN EARBUD" do they have "NOISE CANCELING" and if so, can you turn fi off and listen to people live?. You didn't cover any of this in your video and there are people like me out here that don't get the tech talk that you do so you need to somewhat "DUMB IT DOWN FOR THE REST OF US".

It's impossible for these to have noise cancelling. They're specifically designed to make you aware of your surroundings.

Can these be used independently?

In terms of quality. The Huawei free clips is the ultimate premium. Amazing sound, stellar phone calls.

No volume control is a deal breaker for me. I don't want to take out my phone every time I want to change the volume because I would use this type of earbuds for when I am walking.

Never buying one more. Two different pairs where they stop charging on one side past the warranty

I wonder if this style would sound notably better than good semi in-ears (i.e. no silicone tips) which also do not "wall you off" of your environment. I note that there are a number of semi in-ears out there that are considered quite good and are a bit cheaper and more portable in size.

Does the case still charge wirelessly and is the fit as good as the S50?
