Does 'Manifesting' Exist in Islam? - Q&A 1 with Nouman Ali Khan

Have you heard about manifesting? What are your thoughts on this?

1yr ago i used to image,daydream of my husband cheating and going to a trip lying about the location,1yr later all this bcm true , can someone explain if negative thoughts effective your daily life

Imho..all we need to do is include Allah to whatever we do. LOA is based on the universe...feeling certain to manifest the desire. N in Islam..ujiibud-da'wata idzaa da'aanii. And inni 'inda abdidhz-dhzannii. There!!. If LOA uses affirmation which is the same when we repeat the dua as our desire. The only different thing is we must let go as Allah please.

Like it or not the LOA is one of the ilmu that Allah gave us but like Taurah or injiil that had been distorted. All we need to do be sure with our dua n stay away from sins. Sin is the one as a limiting belief.

All is about opinion. N may be i am the whose wrong.

Fact: Not everything said by "Islamic Scholars" is right.

If you really want to manifest to be positive, then say " Inshallah (by the will of Allah) I will do this or get that, then leave it to Allah, if it is good for you, it will be given if it is not then thank Allah." This kind of manifestation is closer to dua, and Allah knows the best.

Manifestation is miracle for people . If Allah will's the impossible to happen it will happen what people expect to .

Menifestation isn't in Islam but "Intention" is
what do I mean ?
Menifestation is modern concept, And it teaches us that our thoughts and energies can shape our future
but Islam teaches us that results depend on Allah , we just need to make intention, put effort, make a dua and leave it on Allah

Law of attraction can be contradicted according to islam in so many ways.

Literally salah is meditation… meditating at its essence is basically the achievement and maintenance of a thoughtless mind for some period of time. When we pray, don’t we recite Quraan and focus intensely on NOT thinking about ANYTHING outside of that practice?

We are Muslims and we are given brains to do tafakkur. Manifestation is very much real but are we that dumb that we can't realize that if we're manifesting as Muslims that we have to ask Allah not the universe and that the whole "we think positive thought because our thoughts reflect our reality" that its basically us thinking good of Allah. Istg idk why us Muslims have such limited thinking.

For the people who want much more clear answer, I have one through my perspective, hope it helps the one searching for it

When we manifest we believe that this particular thing will happen because we belief it has become the reality, we believe that our mind is really strong and it can attract and do that thing and we thank the energy vibrations and universe and for some Allah
But Are we greater to Allah? Is universe or energies stronger to Allah? NO NEVER NAUZOBILLAH
SO WHY ASK THE CREATION WHEN YOU CAN ASK THE CREATOR?
Why to fall in shirk...
Yes asking or believing in anything or in his creation is shirk
So why cant we connect directly who is the most powerful, and intellectual
He created brain , universe, vibrations
So he is the most powerful
So ask him
And not you or your brain or the energies

Istekhara is only asking to do good in your matters

If you add InshAllah afterwards then it’s ok? It has worked for me in several instances but only by the will of Allah. I include ‘InshAllah’ too. It’s a good way to stop a bad habit by actively speaking to yourself positively. It’s like reprogramming the subconscious mind which is truly amazing. No shirk, believe in Allah will do it if you’re sincere.

I used manifestation to make my belief stronger in Allah

Please can someone guide me on this, if I say or assume that "ALLAH has given me____" basically the thing which I want to manifest and strongly believe that ALLAH is the only one who is giving me everything, HE is the only ONE. I'm trying to say is that when I try to manifest and think positive believing that ALLAH has blessed me a specific thing. Would that be okay? In Islam? I might be wrong, but in my opinion, law of attraction is that when you think positive, and only ask ALLAH and have a strong faith in ALLAH that you're gonna get something IN SHA ALLAH, or believe that "I have a strong faith in ALLAH that it will happen", contrary to the idea that "no, I'm not capable of something". Manifestation doesn't always mean the robotic affirmations, but a positive belief. Yes, if a person thinks that he's getting something and believe or thank someone or something other than ALLAH, then its totally haram. This is my belief. Please guide me on this as I don't want to do shirk even unknowingly and I only ask and worship ALLAH, and I'm learning about law of attraction these days. I would be thankful for kind advice. 😊

But what is wrong in manifesting a good spouse ?

This is the thing yeah…they just haven’t studied enough on manifesting. Because it DOESN’T exclude God. God does this things: for with the man kind nothing is possible but with God EVERYTHING is!

Manifestation is all about gratitude if you grateful for the things that you have and feel good about .then allah says i will give you more then what you have

I also wonder if it’s considered shirk to think you can manifest- we are not the creator, only He is the Creator!

as someone who has fallen into this big mistake for a while, Allah know the best ,this is a situation that can be called shirk . As soon as I fell into this situation, I felt a really great fear that I could not understand and it was a really big feeling. I did not even understand what it was. There are many words that are shirk in manifestation. Let's simply choose to pray and think with correct, positive, good thoughts. Prayer is the most beautiful and effective thing. And the Rahman, who is the ruler of every possibility, knows what is best for us.

Generally speaking, practicing karate is halal but doing seceret-samuari-chi-magic-buddah-jinn-statue sacrifices is haram. We have to be careful not to over simplify things, least we throw the baby out with the bath water. I will say that there is a very broad range to what is called 'manifesting' these days and that the speakers definition is not what I have found to be common. I've found there is no universal manifestation practice and most people customize the core principals of manifestation to take from it what they like within the frame work of their life (my framework is Islam).

I believe this is more of an opinion than a fact because the Quran says you can meditate

dont we muslims say things like "I will pass my exams Inshallah (By the will of Allah)" or anything which we wish to happen, but we say Insha Allah at the end because it will happen only if Allah SWT approves it, so we are technically manifesting everyday but we do not believe that we already have it or that the universe has given it to us

I was just looking into manifestation and tried it a few times and it was really contradicting my faith in Allah and this video just came at the right time. By the way nothing that I manifested came into reality! SubhanAllah!

Be careful with looking into things too much...many of my friends have left islam after studying the Quran in conjunction with the Hadiths. As my old iman used to say, don't think, leave it to the experts to explain Allah and the Din to you.

Manifestation is another great proof why it's important to obey "do not say about the future except with inshallah" which implies manifestation requires intention of knowing you cannot bend fate and that it's only God that can manifest it for you : "I will do well, Inshallah" where Inshallah means "If God has so willed (before)"

Like the ocean with full of treasures, the Quraan has it in different places sometimes when verses tie up with each other in places. It's not poetic as the there was no need for Poetry for Prophet Mohummed pbuh, rather it's rhythmic so it makes it " easy to remember "
