Like, how do I describe this?
It feels like if both were used in a movie, the original could be for more of an opening or introduction to the villain, while this version would be used either later when the stakes are much higher, or when perhaps seeing what lead the villain down this path, watching their sanity/morality crumble as they fully embrace their evil side...
