I just downloaded Speechy, and would love to know how to add more text to an existing file. I see that it will play it or display it, but there is no way that I see to add more text to it.

Can you play someone else’s audio for inspiration and then rewrite ?

I am a French speaking person and I usually understand between 80 to 90% of the British TV programs. But with the U.S. TV it goes down sometimes not more than 15%. Is it possible to use Speechy to recognise the voices of a TV program (I am not talking about translating it in another language, just writing down what we hear but are not able to understand). Thank you for making this video I have used I don’t know how many apps and spent lots of money for subscriptions, but Speechy works much better than any of the other ones including dragon and the Apple products. Your video gave me information I needed to know how to use the app and that is something that was hard to find online.

I just got speechy. Your video is very helpful. I was hoping for a definitive answer as to whether a document could be added to, but I don’t see a way to do it. Since you didn’t address this feature, I’m guessing I’m just going to have to record my scripts in parts. If you know anything more about this I would love to have that info.

I have been trying for a long time to find a speech to text, to communicate with my deaf cousin. She reads my lips perfectly, however to help her buy a new car and keep track of all the functions of the new car from the salesperson, I need to record him as we go through the functions
of the car and then relay all to her after, as we are both senior citizens and memories are short. Thanks for your video keep them coming!

I'm testing this app now and was searching reviews on the web and found your video, I absolutely love the app, I love the fact that once you press the mic button, it's always listening and it doesn't stop as it does when you use native Apple dictation, where after some time it stops listening and it's annoying having to press the mic again every time. Also having the possibility of punctuation is great. Please let me know if you know any other similar apps for iOS. Thanks for the video!

I got the lite version because of my hearing loss. It seems very good. I would like to try the offline version in the pro upgrade, do you know how well the offline version works? The online version is very accurate.

This is what I needed as I need to see a script . I was freehand writing it but it was in a program called PenBook where you write on screen then it makes it into text. Ill try this out. Thanks for this advice, keeps you from fumbling when speaking. I guess it gets easier as you tape more. You should be on Udemy or something, making classes for us.
