And the USNavy's newest friggate (the Constellation class) is just another LCS problem. What idiot decided to put the 57mm pop-gun on a friggate? Already delayed by 6 months, another LCS (Little Crappy Ship), get ready for massive cost over-runs and a lot more delays.

Why didn’t the Royal Navy Select this system instead of the BAE Mk.45 Gun? It has a higher rate of fire akin to the old Mk.8 4.5” Gun currently in service. It would have also, to a certain extent, broken up the US Kit first Monopoly, which can’t be a bad thing.
