To those arguing that there’s no proof FloJo was “juicing” based on test results, one could say the same about Bar-roid Bonds, too. However, we all could see the transformation in his body and stats when he was in his 30s. Something analogous happened to FloJo, but Ashford was consistent over the years and her body looked natural. Evelyn Ashford was much more likable as a person, too!

Ashford had such a natural, beautiful running style with a humble and down-to-earth personality. A very likable athlete!

Florence won the 200m silver medal in the 1984 Olympics. Evelyn is a sprinter, Flo-Jo could run sprints and distances up to 400m.

I unknowingly spent months working alongside Mrs. Ashford as a Publix bakery clerk a couple years ago. The woman is a speed demon and such an angel. I only found out about her history because I was talking to a coworker about how fast she works. She's just as peppy and energetic as she was back then. A true hard worker!
