So eine leichte Hernie hab ich auch.Komischerweise ess ich viel,wird der Nabel wieder tiefer und runder.🤔

Is the patient put any anesthesia and fully asleep?

Did this umbilical hernia contain intestine or only fat?

But no mesh?

Can it be done without the mesh? Also after this surgery what are the chances of it coming back/relapse???

I whent to the doctor and got scanned and everything and they said i dont have an umbilical hernia, but i can obviously see that i do its very visible

My boyfriend had one of these finally he had surgery

my son had this surgery 4 years ago,but it seemed like the wound never healed because,something started like a swelling filled with pus around that area,took him back for a check up and the doctor noticed a thread that was to be removed and was unfortunately forgotten.He managed to remove it.After some months I,again noticed another hard thread pointed around the same area,though this time no swelling nor pus.Just wanted to know if it can bring him any harm in future

I had 2 umbilical hernias from my pregnancy with my ten pound son. He messed me all the way up lol. Surgery was successful and wasn't in any stich of pain at all!! This was in 2010. I have a new belly button now tho lol

According to ultrasound i have an omentum containing small umbilical hernia measuring 0.2cm at the neck.
Can i have straight local anesthesia for a super tiny umbilical hernia? I don't even care for general anesthesia or sedation,I rather be awake and numb if possible like going to a dentist. I would watch the surgery if I could. My mother had a bad reaction to GA/sedation meds, so I'm super nervous if that's needed. I am afraid i will have a hard time waking up or severe reaction like my mother(even though I never had issues in the past personally yet).

Is local with no GA or sedation possible? If I leave it what are the chances of it getting big?
