Captain Phasma is a poor man's Bobba Fett. If you wanted to make Phasma interesting.. Trash that ginger Huxx character and just have a Kylo Ren and Phasma dynamic.

Captain Phasma was barely a character. She was just walking toy commercial that appeared in the whole for 5 fucking minutes and gets killed off screen without a fight. Hell even that Stormtrooper with the anti-lightsaber weapon did more than Phasma did.

Phasma is a bait-and-switch  feminist creation. Her appeal is based entirely on the fact that her armor makes her look like a dude and not anything that is actually feminine. There's nothing of substance within the character.I think those who have distaste for Phasma, however, can find humor and satisfaction in the fact that she is easily dispatched by the heroes after having spent the film doing basically nothing. Boba Fett may have dropped the ball in Return of the Jedi, but he went down in a fight AND demonstrated his cunning in the previous film by finding Han Solo.

The initial idea of the armor sounded interesting, and whelp, they made Capn Phasma, an insanely boring character, no weight to her character whatsoever. Way to go

What i don't get is why they're so proud of hiding breasts? Yeah some pervs live for them but that's just a part of what females are, why hide it? That thing looks pretty uncomfortable for a female considering the chest plate is crushing her breasts, making women more manly shouldn't be praised. Women should be praised for who they are not for what they should be, a slight bump in the armor wouldn't be bad as it allows the user to move more freely during a battle. If they removed parts of her armor to sexualize her than that's too far as that limits her in battle but a small bump in armor would be too much? Even the mandalorians have it, this doesn't make any sens... 'sigh' I'm done.

Phasma, and Finn deserved better. Their characters were pretty interesting, i wanted to see more of them and im sure they had potential. Too late now oh well.

Probably the biggest insult was how they hired an actress who spent the past half decade prior actually fighting with swords and training for hand to hand combat only to toss her aside like she was nothing. Hell, they could have had her be the main antagonist of the sequels, making her a sith and she would have been amazing at it since she knows how to fight with a sword, can go toe to toe with other actors and do her own stunts, and she's a great actress. Hell, if not a Sith, I'd have made her one of the Jedi who survived and fled into hiding, where she'd come out and be an anti hero, wanting revenge on Kylo Renn for what he did and actually getting in the hero's way so she could be the one to defeat him with her lightsaber.
