One of the best movie homage games around, up there with Ghostbusters, Alien Iso not sure what the 6/10 is about a strait 8/10 easy.

100% agreed. Mediocre game. same 6 activities done over and over. Scarecrows, Minefields, 3 types of camps and Snipers. That's the game. Imagine doing the same shit 45 times? That the minefields! The ending is also terrible. In this game you do the same thing over and over.

I agree with all the shortcomings mentioned in this review but for some reason this game is just so fun & addicting that I'm willing to forgive all that.

Just started playing this game couple days ago. Boy got this free from plus. Heard bad review and didn’t touch it. I must say it’s pretty good game. Probably gonna take me close to 100 hours to platinum this

The rating is well deserved. Repetitive, tedious, boring...these are the words that characterize my first 15 hours of gameplay. It's a very open world with little variety to be done, albeit it is a gorgeous world. You were generous, Gamespot.

I like how the reviewer just nit-fucking-picked minor annoyances and spun them in a way that it becomes a major flaw. This reviewer's a joke.

I actually just started playing this and couldn't believe how good this game is! Don't listen to this reviewer it's seriously awesome I wasn't expecting it to be such top quality.

This guy has no clue what he’s talking about. I’ve had so much fun with the game. He’s simply not good at it because it’s a difficult and unforgiving game that gives reward at the end. It simply takes time and skill

Great review, this game is kinda boring and very overrated

Could have given this game a 7.5, it has no bullshit micro transactions. I realize the game is repetitive but it is really addictive trying to keep levelling Max and his Magnus Opus. Exploring the Dunes is Epic Mad MAx Immersion especially when you encounter a GIANT Sandstorm. Yes the story telling is sub par and voice acting is ok not great but the car combat is Sick and I cannot wait to Play Rage 2, cause it combines the exploration and car 🚗 combat with Doom shooting mechanics. This studio should be commended for at least giving us a game without trying it to monetize it's community. The review is fucken wrong. 6/10 is far too low and this game deserves more respect and appreciation.

I just started playing this and I love it so far. I give it about an 8 so far.

Even though this is a older review I have to say I find it a little ironic that the hand-to-hand combat that this reviewer dislikes so much is praised in the Batman games.

If you got killed instantly everytime a car hit you on foot? This game wouldn't be as fun as it is.
However, Chumbucket repairing the car during chases and moving battles would've been badass. But it's still a solid game and worth the time. Mad Max doesn't get enough credit. It's a very well done game. Bottom line? It's fun.

Too many spoilers for a review IMHO.

This review sucks. IGN gave a sub- honest review, that at least makes sense. This game is a solid 8.5/10 at least, considering it's the only good Mad Max Game in existence, and there's really nothing else like it.

This game was awesome! Reviews like this reminds me, why I stopped reading/watching gamespot reviews a long time ago. I would recommend steam user reviews for a more precise evaluation.
