Phew, glad you liked it! Agree with all your points, I need a third hand to hold all the rule books! Although I find the mix of tiles better in Mage Knight after finally playing it ... I guess there are only so many type of space tiles you can have....

I so agree with your points. I like this game a lot solo but I wouldn't want to play it with more than two unless everyone knew the game well. I did play Mage Knight recently (pre-C19) 2-player and it was fine since the other player knew it very well.
This and Mage Knight BG give me such a brain-burn that I sometimes will get a hangover / sick for a day or so after. When playing solo though, it's much easier to play it over multiple days, cats/space allowing.

2 player 2 handed all the way for me! :) (for Mage Knight)

if best part is to play solo against a AI that you barely interact with then a APP for the game seems like it would be the best

If you have to choose between Mage Knight and Star Trek Frontiers, what would you choose?

agreed...the rules are terrible...and i'm an expert at deciphering even the worst of rulebooks.

You have to get the RETURN OF KHAN expansion for this--it makes the game even better.
