Ответитьa few mods are helpful like RPG style inventory. Lets you see items they are holding. and sidearms is amazing

Ответитьi was going to keep my advice to myself. But since you asked.Try to bottleneck the entrance to your base and then place a row of traps on the only remaining "OPEN" path to your base. all you need is wood in the begining. Leaving a door open will make enemies path to that spot

Raiders don't see traps, Sappers do and will take the closest route to your valuables. Raid size are gauged by settlement value in calculated by objects that can be uninstalled and objects in stockpile.
Psycopath just removes mood debuffs doing evil things like Butchering Humans, unburied bodies, killing prisoners,harvesting organs,Wearing Human Leather Clothing Etc. It also removes social mood boosts
ОтветитьInsect gives - the ones that you start a map with are dormant and don't reproduce. Each day they deteriorate, and each day the spelopedes & megaspiders will repair their hives.
If you disturb the bugs much at all the hive will die for lack of maintenance, that's when the bugs for that hive will start wandering around aimlessly.
Making a camp fire will remove the need meal source buffet 😊

ОтветитьIf you don't like the refugee just let him "Fight" the chasers. Once he is down they will kidnap him and lose their interest. It might affect your colonists mood though, but worth it if the refugee is bad.

This looks bad, but I think you'll get the idea here, doors will make it so your pawns won't trigger the traps. Your enemies should pass the traps before they get inside your outer walls (8 in this case but you can make it as big as you want haha).
Your map is not good, I hate mountainous maps with caves, you'll probably have regular bug problem in that map. I can't give you a good advice on that too, I literally avoided bugs all the time. Those thing are annoying.
Different material does different damage for spike traps. You can direct the enemies through you spike traps if you build an enclosed area before your door or around your home. Make a narrow hallway and put like 5 traps along that hallway but make a door near the entrance to it so your colonists can walk through that instead on the traps

ОтветитьDon't eat raw food! You can easily get poisoned or even die. Build a fueled stove and use it. Later on when you have the cooking skill you can create lavish meals and boost your mood thru the roof.
I also like to build my bases in the mountains. It's very secure and fun but it could be dangerous. If you have a fire in closed area the temperature will be like 1000F in few seconds and everybody will just die from heat stroke also there are infestations from time to time in the mountains. Be armed and ready all the time :D
If you place your traps in a checkerboard fashion in a 2 tile corridor then your pawns can walk between them. It's a bit more expensive but less likely to kill your own pawns

ОтветитьHello bob, glow pods are basically free lights, they dissapear after time but its good light lol, avoid building in mountains beacuse infestations, you know.. you want to take care of these hives as soon as possible, 2 colonists unable to melee is kinda unlucky lol i cant think of any more tips off the top of my head, but good luck man !
