Why in the fuck would you EVER stick your fingers in a fish's mouth???? Trying to earn a Darwin Award!
ОтветитьSeatrouts are also pretty tempting to lip-grip and forget they have like 3 sharp canine teeth
ОтветитьWhat a douche brant is
ОтветитьI live in Texas & found out that you just don't lip ANYTHING from the ocean. Everything has teeth. Usually I have no idea what I'm catching. Take a picture, then when I get home look it up. Still, found that lipping anything is a no no.
ОтветитьSurprised puffers weren't mentioned, they are all around the piers and boooooy if that beak gets a hold of you, I tell you what.....
ОтветитьDon't sleep on sheepshead & blowfish....
ОтветитьWoow.....Your video is good, I really like it.
ОтветитьGreat video! I've never caught a trigger fish yet so thanks for the heads up
ОтветитьDon't grab a snook by his gills, they are razor sharp
ОтветитьMan good stuff.
ОтветитьI just use the rule of: everything in the ocean has teeth.
ОтветитьGreat video guys; too few videos done about this subject! Gill plates is another one you gotta watch out for! When someone new to salt water fish is with me, I just tell them not to grab a fish unless they know where to grab it...asking where, or how to grab a fish only takes a moment....a moment that can save you a latta grief!!!-Jason
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьWould anyone recommend a Penn Fierce II Combo for saltwater fishing?
ОтветитьWho else is team Brant?
ОтветитьYep ,Them Flounder will snap at you from a distance .I learned the hard way and got chomped.
ОтветитьThanks for making this video!I appreciate the info..Good reminders!
My wife and I are going salt water fishing again this week in Florida and I would like to keep all my extremities!!!😛
Hahaha "Don't jump in naked, is all I gotta say."
Ответитьspeckle trout ?
Ответитьgreat info
ОтветитьWhat about big ass puffers
ОтветитьSheephead and snapper yes. What is odd is I have better luck for blue fish with lighter leaders, circle hooks. Buck tail jigs red and whit in and past the surf. Never caught a snakehead don't plan to when I am bass fishing.
ОтветитьHow about Cobia? They dont look like they have teeth, but will hurt you!
ОтветитьWouldn’t it be a shorter list to talk about the salt water fish that you can thumb like a bass? It seems like most of them have razor sharp teeth down there.
Ответитьoyster fish. powerful jaws they use to crush oyster shells. will wear you out!
ОтветитьFor all y'all freshwater fishermen saltwater fish have lots of teeth. Use needlenose pliers. Love them more then your Ol lady
ОтветитьTrigger fish had me dyin
ОтветитьHubby said add puffer fish, cow fish, or parrot fish
ОтветитьI trigger fish ate through our chum bag..with one bite that heavy netting ..we had hanging over the stern..it bit about a 2 inch hole in our bag..
ОтветитьI have seen people coming back from diving with their fins clamped by trigger fish 😊
ОтветитьNow in New Mexico desert only, how about a sheepshead??? I remember when I fished near Jax, NAS, , naval air station, I'm sure you know we used to pick off barnacles, and they have some long a_ _ teeth? I remember using a steel leader. What do you think about em biting you? Let me know, love your shows on you tube, keep up the good work and be safe.
Ответить"Don't fish naked"
ОтветитьAnother great video. Very informative and I I like y'all sense of humor. I also subscribed to Brandt's channel. You guys make an awesome pair.
ОтветитьAwesome video I glad I came across this video because I catch mangrove snapper all the time there nasty critters!
ОтветитьYest here are some dangerous fish out there be careful!
ОтветитьSpeckled trout will make you extend your list !
Ответитьi have been bit by a blue fish it hurt all the way up to my elbow
ОтветитьGreat video, love the stories.
ОтветитьYup freakin blues can rip ur hand of like a piranha! I guess cudas are of the list due to the scary looks of their mouths!
ОтветитьI want to book a charter with you and Brant that sounds like I could learn a lot considering that I'm new to the kayk fishing
Ответитьty good info
ОтветитьOld Guide way back in the day. Marco Island, before it was The Marco Island. Cat Fish slime, will turn in a rag, a will gig you with that dorsal fin spine. Like Brant and Yak said, reel up, head to the ER NOW. Pliers into there mouth, pliers to get the hook out. Very safe way out of that one.
ОтветитьKing fish got me on the arm took a chunk
ОтветитьA giant bluefish bite my dads 18 in trout in half before we got it in
ОтветитьYa all dont fish grouper much so ya dont have the I thought it was a bass story's.
ОтветитьA diving buddy got nipped by a Parrot fish. It removed a nice oval shaped piece from his leg. Those guys practice snapping dinner from coral.
ОтветитьA flounder was the first saltwater fish I ever caught. I didn't know better so I went to remove the hook by hand and you're right: those teeth are no joke. Pliers out every time I see teeth on a fish now!
ОтветитьSome guy up north? I can catch all these fish in the Chesapeake Bay.
ОтветитьDon't jump in naked......... quote.🤣
ОтветитьIt's not a fish but a blue crab can ruin your day. I had one latch on to my thumb on s pier and the only way it let go was a guy put my hand on the deck and stomped the crab and it let go. Very painful. Great video 👍.
