MLS, after 30 years of trying to elevate the American levels, still sucks. They have totally failed. to develop world quality plavers, except for a few goalkeepers. A few competent field players, yes. Stars. no!, Zero! Ziltch! Zip! Nada! Thirty years without a single big star!
ОтветитьThe "trend," you say? MLS has been in the Concacaf Finals 4 time in the past 5 years. Then look at the previous 5 years, and the 5 yrs before that. The trend is: MLS is improving. What will you say if and when MLS wins it in 2025?
ОтветитьWhat is the surprise??
ОтветитьMLS has to move away from the tradition US salary capped leagues. That’s necessary when you have sports with a talent pool which only comes from one country. Soccer being worldwide and having a player base that is also worldwide throws the need for a salary cap to maintain parity out the window.
ОтветитьMLS is slowly loosening the salary rules. This year for example you can spend unlimited dollars on 6 players, not 3, but 3 of them have to be under 22 years of age.
Ответить3 MLS teams are in the Quarter Finals, 3 Liga MX teams are in the Quarter Finals. With Miami and Pumas are pending. Another "the sky is falling" commentary/ video down the drain.
ОтветитьTo be fair, MLS has been better than MX in the Leagues Cup. However, MLS has a home field advantage in Leagues Cup. MLS gets their butts kicked in Mexico.
ОтветитьPretty irresponsible for these guys to record before the Vancouver game.
