Paul signed an ireland jersey for my brother in law at christmas a few years back after i reached out to Paul on instagram which i got framed... The best centre half in the premier league era, yet nobody ever mentions him. If he played for England he'd be in everyone's greatest premier league team but no fear. Ledley King May not have had the alcohol problems but also had the knee issues, he was excellent was King, maybe half as good as McGrath which is a huge compliment to him

Liverpool signed Phil Babb off the back of Irelands game against Italy in USA 94. It was Paul McGrath that made him look good in that game. Paul was phenomenal in that game. They signed the wrong centre back!
