ОтветитьVery good information.
Thank You.
SWEETWATER ROCKS!!!!
Great video! Good to know about those pesky basses being trapped humanely
ОтветитьNobody cares about bass players are bass traps. Guitar players are always jumping on our backs and crossing over into our frequencies so we don't get heard at all. Now I'm going to go on a corner and cry haha. I had one of my bass guitars get away from me, but I got it and sent it to surgery and had some Geezer Butler P & J's put into it. It's docile and happy now. It still has a little growl.
ОтветитьAll I ever wanted to know about bass traps all in one video! Informative. I first heard of bass traps when I read they were being added to a studio Green Day was tracking in years ago. The details escape me so I’m quoting from memory. Anyway, I enjoyed this video. Also, the ending is pure gold. LOL
ОтветитьI.e. egg crates and a staple gun 😬
ОтветитьHaha I loved the ending
Ответить🤘
ОтветитьMy Channel needs it try to look 😀
ОтветитьMore like this please
ОтветитьMy bass trap doesn't work. My bassist still hasn't caught a new bass in it.
Ответитьdont get your foot caught in one on the up beat
ОтветитьI cut a long 50' basement room in half using book shelves and a massive stack of 33LP shelf-cubes but left some cracks for bass to get through. there are several "sound mazes" in back from storage shelves and stuff. this room also came finished with these huge 4'X14' thick fiberglass padded ceiling panels. total BONUS.(these would be the "reflective skin, bass absorb style Mitch described) The front of the room has no bass boom. (a behringer RTA and test mic also helped me to "see" the freq response of the room).
ОтветитьThat bit at the end! 😆
Ответить😆😆😆👏👏👏 The extra part at the end was just perfect!
ОтветитьI stayed until the end, and it was worth it!
Ответитьtypically brief and essential - Thank you
ОтветитьHilarious ending!
ОтветитьYou should really recommend Acoustic Fields for this matter. The carbon diaphragmatic absorbers are a very efficient technology.
Ответить🙅🏻♂️🙅🏻♂️
ОтветитьGreat explaination, however.. when I search the sweetwater-shop for "resonant absorber" or "resonance absorber" I don't find any room-treatment. Do you only sell the broad-band-kind? Because I know the problematic frequencies of my room and I'd like to adress them specifically. (Big issue at ~40-45 Hz, common issue at 150Hz, smaller issues at 90 Hz, 300 & 400 Hz)
ОтветитьSay porous absorber 3 times fast.
Ответитьwow..I under estimated how good this video was going to be, I assumed it would be tailored more towards selling me a bass trap but instead it was very informative!
ОтветитьThe high frequency of the nerdy bass trap techno jargon is hurting my delicate inputs...
*Unplugs my monitors and puts on the $300 studio headphones I got from Sweetwater*
Ahhh, much better! 😄
The outro got me
ОтветитьApparently with all the wild basses out there...I should look into getting my bass trapper licence.
ОтветитьI'm a wild bass that has become a nuisance. Just ask my bandmates. 🐻🎸
Ответитьdomesticate your bass😂
Ответить🕳🥜👐🏻
ОтветитьGreat in, great out. Ha ha ha 😝
ОтветитьNow this man knows what he is talking about
Ответитьamazing video, I wish you would use more pictures to deliver your ideas more easily
ОтветитьExcellent Info..... I had a very power full subwoofer that was way too much power in my small room....however whenever i left my room i would notice how much more bass was outside of my room.
ОтветитьTame those low end frequencies with bass traps!
