Chili's only flaw is a touch of arrogance. He expects people to know how he would do things, and just naturally follow along. When you tell someone not to say something, it's a better idea to tell them what to SAY instead. Otherwise, they're twisting in the wind and say something stupid.... like Harry.

Love the infusion of Morphine's music at the end to add to the mood.

Travolta a real ‘movie star’, was, IMO, never better than he was in ‘Get Shorty’. That was, in part, because of his 24k supporting cast.
Gene Hackman, DelRoy Lindo, and the brilliant James Gandolfini.
That all made their respective roles look easy…

Great acting in this movie, but none of these guys are killers or gangster's that's probably why it's a comedy 😅

Ive seen better film on teeth floored me!

Get Shorty was a surprise hit...good story, good writing. The sequel Be Cool sucked compared to it...nothing but a money grab.

Harry immediately collapses and does the exact opposite of what Chili tells him to do. It’s amusing to watch Gene Hackman play a character who is so different from the in-control tough guys he normally plays.

Chili quickly sizes up Bo and Ronnie and realizes that even though Bo is no pushover, they’re both pretty minor league compared to East Coast mobsters. Travolta is best when he’s understated and restrained in roles like this.
