Ofc he knew, he knew VERY well that there was a big possibility that he would die as a result of the way he lived his life. I think, like he said so many times, that Peep knew he'd probably die at a young age. In addition to his mental health beeing pretty bad and declining, he was not happy at all....and he allways chased that "special" feeling, the feeling of happiness. He said he didn't understand what happiness really was, cuz every time he felt happy it lasted for like, 10 seconds and then he was down and feeling blue again...so he was aaaallways chasin something...chasin, day by day, while his drug abuce only increased and went from bade to worse.

I can't really explain how sad this really is. What a waste.. He was such a talent, such an inspiration to all the people he met, and everyone who listened to his music. He could have done so much more, and given the world so many more treasures through his music and just being himself.
