Heat 🔥
ОтветитьLove the new format, really insightful. How much did you do in the grade for the look? Did you set the lights to a warmer WB or were they set to daylight and the warmer look created in post?
ОтветитьWhat is the temperature for the lights and WB of the image? Very good and educational content btw!
ОтветитьYou promised to do one color grading tutorial 🥺
ОтветитьNice! Like the other comments can you share the colour temp for the fixtures and the kelvin temp for the FX3? Thank-you
ОтветитьLooks great, and I like the format. I 've been experimenting with 3200k lights while shooting in 5600k recently so this was really interesting to watch. I was always trying to make the look in DaVinci and I realised that what I needed to change was the light temperature. It sounds silly even saying it out loud because it's so obvious, but I've been a photographer in the past, shooting in RAW, maybe using gels back in the day with strobes, etc... Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьWhat is it the braids?! 😂
ОтветитьLove these break downs and was spot on! Question, If you had the cove for wrap/fill what’s the motivation for the ceiling bounce if it’s to lift some levels on the face? Do they serve the same purpose?
Ответитьgreat work guys!
ОтветитьAbsolutely incredible. Euphoria’s cinematography was always top notch and y’all did a great job recreating that!
ОтветитьThose lenses are beautiful. Hard to find good examples online. This video helps so much! Overall, what was your impression of the lenses? Working with Duclos to get a demo asap.
Ответитьwhat was your ISO?
Ответитьlove this! I had the exact same idea of trying to recreate this scene but never realised how much would go into making it, thank you!
ОтветитьGuy's a model too eh, jeez.
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this. Great video.
ОтветитьLoved this tutorial! Your recreation of the Euphoria shot looks amazing, and I especially appreciated the breakdown of how you used the 4 lights to achieve the desired effect. Can't wait to try out these techniques in my own photography adventures!
ОтветитьI am curious about color temperature on lights and WB in camera ? If you ever get the chance id love to know..
ОтветитьReallt great video breakdown guys. Keep it up!
ОтветитьHi! I was wondering do you still have the footage with the false color for this shot? Been having troubles exposing slog3 in low light situations.
ОтветитьI guaranty that Hollywood does not put that much thought into lighting. I see they use like one or two lights 44 degree angle from the top or bottom with homemade soft boxes .
Ответитьcan you show your exposure with the histogram or false color?
Sometimes I really don’t know if I just crush the blacks in the histogram to achieve the look or add more light/input to reach a safe exposure and then bringing it down in post.
I feel like if I try to bring it down in post, it won’t feel the same dark look as the reference, however, if I just crush the shadows on camera, it gives me so much noise :/
this is so dope! the color grading really made it pop and look so much like euphoria. Can you do a breakdown on color grading this and what the light temperature was ?
ОтветитьGreat video, excellent content !! I really loved your version of the scene!
Ответитьthis is really dope, what were the camera settings?
ОтветитьSuch a solid show 🎉 and a great watch!
ОтветитьGreat job! The only thing I like better in the original that it’s stopped down more and therefore creates more of an interesting pattern in the background. In your version it’s all pretty blurry and kind of flat.
