He can represent himself but as himself not as a trust.

I don't really like that lawyers have decided to carve out this artificial monopoly for themselves.

The judge is trying really hard to throw the guy a bone without crossing any procedural line by actually giving him legal advice, but he's not picking up on her hint. She keeps telling him that he cannot represent the trust if he's not an attorney. He needs to reframe his action as a personal one so he can represent himself and at least get his foot in the door.

If he's the trustee, he should be spending the trust's money on a lawyer, not his own money. I don't understand what this is all about... Who is withholding funds? He's the trustee. He controls the funds. I also don't understand why he's fighting being removed as trustee. If he isn't getting his fees, wouldn't he want to quit? None of this makes any sense...

Any time money is left on the table, lawyers take it. I was the beneficiary of a trust one time in my life and because it was challenged, it took two years and the law firm paid themselves with funds from the trust the whole time, without any trusee's approbal sinve they were the trust administrator. Nothing you can do about it. They depleted it to the point where what was left to me became a mere fraction of what it was originally supposed to be. If you want to pass monmey and property on to your next of kin, DO IT WHILE YOU'RE STILL ALIVE!!!!!!

If he is a trustee, why can't he use trust funds to hire and attorney to represent the trust? This doesn't make any sense. Trustees control the trust and how the money is spent. So, we need more information to understand what's going on here.

So essentially he’s locked out of using the trust he’s entitled to and legally he can’t represent himself while also not being able to afford a lawyer. The court won’t help him get a lawyer which is a lawful requirement by the court and the judge expects him to sit there and take every claim on the chin with no ability to defend himself. Feel as though this is where a judge may interpret the law as breaking someone’s constitutional right to council and should grant a lawyer. Maybe I’m uninformed but it feels as though there is a constitutional right being broken here

Seems to be 2 family trust(s) that he's co-trustee of, both with 6 beneficiaries. Sounds like the family is unhappy with the way he's been managing one of the trust, and are suing to get him removed.

My recommendation to you is to contact Institute for justice to see if they can help you

The attorney should have kept his mouth shut. The attorney could have ate him for lunch in the courtroom.
