ОтветитьI bought jam at the pineapple dol farm and when i was returning home at airport the people who work at airport they confiscated it from me but when we passed the checking area there were same jam products selling at the gift shop. What a thieves
ОтветитьBuy me a drink scam!
ОтветитьGas only $2.60 a gallon in texas
ОтветитьThe fake State is a Corporation who's only goal is to make money!!
ОтветитьWhy are all the locals asian
ОтветитьYou may think you are purchasing a tour of Oahu but are being "suckered" into a time share promotion( Hello Hilton???)
ОтветитьMy husband and I are traveling to Hawaii next September. Is there any information for first time traveler it would be appreciated, thanks
ОтветитьVery informative. Thanks……👍🏽
ОтветитьI still don't understand why the average tourist gets a car, most things will be in walking distance or you can take the bus.
ОтветитьYou’re complaining about $130/night hotel? But I agree fees are out of hand.
ОтветитьWaikiki beach is not Mexico for heaven's sake! LOL You're really not selling Oahu to people. Trying to disuede people from going there? 🤔
ОтветитьWait but why would you expect to pay any artist $5? $30 is actually cheap...
ОтветитьSide note, if you like go swap meet... Don't get ripped off like me if you like try some fresh island fruit... If the vendor doesn't get da price listed, always ask da cost! One time I just walked up and asked the vendor for two coconuts to drink for me and my daughter... I'm thinking to myself da price should be around $20 for two... He went crack da coconuts, put da straw in, and told me "that'll be $42!" So I had to take that L... Meanwhile, right around da corner, had one other vendor wit bigger, and fresher coconuts only going for $7 each! This went happen 2yrs ago, and I still get pissed to dis day... 😩🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
ОтветитьAlso make sure the cabs or Ubers are not taking the "long" route to pad their wallets. I lived in Hawaii for years and the last time I was out there for business the cabbie took a 10 mile detour thinking I was just a dumb tourist
ОтветитьBig rip off are the Luau... It's ridiculously expensive. $166 per person.
ОтветитьOnly 12?
ОтветитьThis is EXACTLY like RIO de JANEIRO = Brazil 🇧🇷
ОтветитьAnd some of the craftsmanship at the swap meet is AMAZING! And the food & juice trucks make the real stuff (often from local produce).
Definitely do the lava lava there. They are half the price, just as lovely and with the same quality (often made by same company) as on Waikiki.
We loved the Surfjack! Great rec! Wish we could have stayed longer.
ОтветитьWhen hubby and I go to Hawaii we have a water bag from local motion, put our stuff in it and you can even keep air in it to float on lol obviously make sure there’s no leaks going on before doing that lol
ОтветитьIt’s true I was just recently at the Honolulu airport and someone stole my hello Kitty plushy from me on my honeymoon!!!!! Bastards 💯🤬
Ответитьas a resident here I can validate that these are all valid concerns and good tips. good work
ОтветитьWe just went in December of 2023. Our airB&B was right next door to SurfJack. Surfjack is Waikiki's best kept secret. Wish we would have known about the hotel before we went. Also, they have an amazing restaurant that my wife and I went to for our anniversary.
ОтветитьSo sad, lived and worked in Waikiki from 81-95. Didn’t have any scams back then, more Aloha less concrete. Mahalo.
ОтветитьSo happy that I stumbled upon your channel! Thank you for all of the super helpful info. It's been ages since I've been to Oahu and I needed a few reminders for my upcoming trip. 😄
ОтветитьOnce had a guy sell me reggie buds when I was a freshman in high school. I asked what it was called and he told me "this that Waikiki sneaky"
ОтветитьAlso stay away from the Dole Plantation. Worst tourist trap In Hawaii.
ОтветитьRestaurants that comp you tubers to show their food on there channel are scams. The portion are huge and cheap. When you visit the portion s are small and not the same price. Happened many times last week while I was on vacation
Ответитьafter all this i'm scared now to go
ОтветитьBest bums on earth! I'am a waikiki beach bum 1980-83. those changing houses are homeless shelters at night. Best place to eat is UW. Rice in McDonalds.Bus Drivers Suck!
ОтветитьFree coffee in the morning I love it ❤😂
Ответитьvery kool. tyvm ps bargain, not barter :)
ОтветитьStreet dancers. They make a very small show, get some volunteers to the center for the “grand finale” and expend 5 minutes raising money, then there closing act is just bad. They’re really good dancer and their technic to get $20-$100 bills is good, but is very 💩 they way the take the money and then bounce with not good ending. Kinda disrespectful.
ОтветитьWhen I lived at Pearl Harbor, I very seldom went to Waikiki beach. My "beach" was Bellows Field.
ОтветитьThe Airport Bus in Honolulu is an affordable way to get to Waikiki, however they are very strict with
the bag size. Ideally 1 bag per person, no larger than the 22".
🌴🌴🌴🌴🌈🌴Aloha from Big Island 🌴🌴🌈dudes you're dudes🌺💓🌺you are do cool
ОтветитьHey folks come to Waikiki and enjoy yourselves but know ahead of time that costs inside Waikiki proper can be more expensive than you are used to and you will pay for things here that you may not have elsewhere. Just educate yourself before coming here with a wallet full of lunch money expecting Fantasy Island.
ОтветитьWaikiki is overrated, dirty, and too expensive for what you get. I’ll never go back. Maui is the spot.
ОтветитьI think $30 or $40 seems fair for caricatures. You’re paying not only for their time but also the materials they use 🤙🏽
ОтветитьThank you for the cool tour, gonna add some of your suggestions to my next visit!!!
ОтветитьThose beach scammers that throw leighs around your neck and demand money.
ОтветитьBiggest scam is also tipping $$$ in the whole of the USA. And exchange rate 🤦🏼♀️
ОтветитьThe biggest thieves is the withdrawal ATM where you get charged $4.95 and can only get $200.00 Go to the actual bank you can withdraw $500 with $4.95 fee.
ОтветитьYour videos are super helpful. Can u please do big island next
ОтветитьMAHALO for the AMAZING tips!!!
ALOHA!!!🌺🌴😎🍍🏖️
DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY IN THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS
White people are being aggressively targeted for intentionally burning the people on Maui to death for personal gain.
I live in California. I'm leaving tomorrow for a one week vacation in Hawaii. I'm going to drive there in my new car because I'm afraid of flying.
