I still don't really understand the issue. Sokol took a stake in a company while working at BRK, and by taking a stake first before talking to Buffet, that was the sin he committed? Isn't that how BRK works, by having its managers analyze and take large stakes in companies, some of which they might decide to buy? Warren and David both effectively work for BRK, no? How should it have been done?

BRK needs better corporate governance. Too much money flying around that place. Munger says he doesn't think changes are needed? He's not learning from the mistakes here. He and Warren are misers who hate to spend ANY money. Not comforting as a shareholder.

What a dumb interviewer. Constantly trying to needle him into saying something/make some admission when he has done no wrong. Typical low quality media shark looking for scandal. What Sokol did was morally wrong but it reflects on no one but himself.

Man, this interviewer is being so lame, it's not 20/20. The Sokol story's not that big of a deal. Stop pressing the old man. Lame interviewer. Ask better questions.
