We dropped a video this week about how to get started with Portal. In it we used a S7-1200 to demonstrate how to connect and download to a PLC in Portal. We will go more in-depth about the functions available to the S7-1200 and reveal when you would want to pick it. We will talk about some fundamental topics such as scaling analogs and how an AI is different from a drive "analog" in a telegram.

Here are the topics I plan on covering:
What is an S7-1200 and when is it a good fit?
Programming basic features.
Using I-Device
Analog Inputs vs Drive Setpoint Inputs.
*BONUS* Custom DCC Inertia Compensation!
