Do you have a coring system? This looks like tis burl could have made a fantastic set of 2 or 3...though maybe not with how hard the turning was...

This is beautiful. I don't understand why you wasted all the inside part, though... why not core out the middle, and make smaller bowls out of it, instead of just wasting it...? Is it because this one was giving you so much trouble? This would've made a beautiful set of bowls.
It's just such a shame to have wasted the inside part because it's such a beautiful bowl. A set of bowls would've been even better. I do like that you actually polished it to a shine, though.

That spill is the reason I spray the interior of my pressure pot with mold release occasionally. Makes clean up a whole bunch easier!!! 🤷‍♂️
