This sounds like my church - do not go with the Spirit if the worship is good and people are into it. Stick to the clock even if it means you cut someone off by stepping in to grab the mic mid-announcement. Wind up the 45 min sermon promptly, offer a chance for salvation while keeping an eye on the clock. Everyone speeding up the final song to make sure the whole service is wrapped up exactly an hour and a half after it starts! We do not want to 'waste' so much of our Sunday at church, not when it's our day of rest.
