ОтветитьWhy we have to take New Table while creating Date In Dax ?
ОтветитьVery nice explanation
ОтветитьNice .. informative post!
It will be more interesting if you can explain quarters start not on January, restrict the day from slicer for example am on 12th Aug 2023 MTD will show from 01Aug to 12th Aug 2023, I want to see current MTD from 01Aug2023 to 11thAug2023.
Thanks for this video. It's really really helpful one. "Love to Milestone Creator"❤
ОтветитьWhat would be the dax previous QTD - means if today I am in Q3 from July 1 2023 to Aug 18 2023. So what would be the output for previous QTD means for Q2 from Apr 1 2023 till May 18 2023.
Ответитьhi your LastYearYTD period is wrong.. LastYearYTD means till date ie. 2022-01-01 to 2022-08-03.
ОтветитьBro maza aa gaya,.... Bhut pareshan tha is DAX k liye.... Thank you bro
ОтветитьYou have used wrong method complicated dax
ОтветитьExcellent explanation of time intelligence dax function in PB

Very Helpful
Bro im using MTD sales and qtd sales different measures but value is same bro anything wrong in calculation
ОтветитьSir, Very nice video but the concept for previous month/quarter to date is wrong.PMTD – Previous month to date is the period starting from the beginning of last calendar month and ending at the current day of last month. Please correct in video so that other people learning will get right logic.
ОтветитьHi I have a question. I am confused calculating pytd value.
can you tell me which is correct between the below two to calculate PYTD avg price.
should we use just the avg_price or calculated YTD avg_price?
PTYD Avg Price = CALCULATE([YTD Avg Price],SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR(Calender[Date].[Date]))
or
PTYD Avg Price = CALCULATE([ Avg Price],SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR(Calender[Date] .[Date]))
Thank you
ОтветитьHOW TO Create a line and clustered chart and compare this year vs last year's sales along with growth % ?
Ответитьthank you, your video helps me
ОтветитьPlease say till date bro😉
ОтветитьHow do i calculate these metrics when the calendar is not standard . For example fiscal year starts from 1 feb and ends on 31 Jan
ОтветитьThank you so much for this level of clarity.
ОтветитьA million thanks for this video. Clearly understood all concepts without any doubt.
ОтветитьJust a suggestion. It would be better using the following sintaxis, for instance:
SPLY QTD =
CALCULATE(
[Current QTD],
SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR(DATESYTD(Orders[Order Date].[Date]))
)
Is better because it wont generate an error when apply a page filter by category or some other dimension in your model

ОтветитьBhai Previous Date kaa batade..
ОтветитьAwesome bhai nice explanation 🎉
ОтветитьIn the dataset sales column, from order id 260 to 365 instead of sales data, there is date.
Ответитьye kpi card mein kaise show karein.....sply and cmtd mein comparison
?
SPLY MTD, QTD & YTD data mismatching. Data must be taken up to August 4 of 2022, instead taking data of whole August month.
ОтветитьData of current month must be filled up to get correct output in SPLY MTD, SPLY QTD & SPLY YTD.
ОтветитьTotal_Sales = CALCULATE(sum(Orders[Sales]))
✅Current MTD = CALCULATE(TOTALMTD([Total_Sales],DATESMTD(Orders[Order Date])))
✅Current QTD = CALCULATE(TOTALQTD([Total_Sales],DATESQTD(Orders[Order Date])))
✅Current YTD = CALCULATE(TOTALYTD([Total_Sales],DATESYTD(Orders[Order Date])))
✅Previous Month Total Sales = CALCULATE([Total_Sales],PREVIOUSMONTH(DATESMTD(Orders[Order Date])))
✅Previous Quarter Total Sales = CALCULATE([Total_Sales],PREVIOUSQUARTER(DATESQTD(Orders[Order Date])))
✅Previous Year Total Sales = ✅CALCULATE([Total_Sales],PREVIOUSYEAR(DATESYTD(Orders[Order Date])))
✅Previous MTD = ([Previous Month Total Sales] + [Current MTD])
✅Previous QTD = ([Previous Quarter Total Sales]+[Current QTD])
✅Previous YTD = ([Previous Year Total Sales]+[Current YTD])
✅SPLY MTD = CALCULATE([Current MTD],SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR(Orders[Order Date]))
✅SPLY QTD = CALCULATE([Current QTD],SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR(Orders[Order Date]))
✅SPLY YTD = CALCULATE([Current YTD],SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR(Orders[Order Date]))

ОтветитьHow to create weeky sales
ОтветитьThank you, sir, for making this video easy and informative.
ОтветитьGood video...plz confirm how to do the same for customized week, month, quarter, year..ex: Indian financial year
ОтветитьWhile explaining previous month you said it will consider entire previous month but actually it will consider from 1st of previous month to current date eg: if today is 03/12/2024 it will consider from 01/11/2024 to 03/11/2024
