iPadOS Beta 1 looks great, very good for 1st beta. Multitask is all we wanted
ОтветитьAlso the new top menu on iPad OS will be super helpful
ОтветитьiOS 26 is the disappointment of the century.
ОтветитьI am looking forward to the iPad os updates. I use my air M3 as a desktop. It’s replaced my windows gaming laptop for everything but gaming.
Cheers!
Thank you for not reviewing the genmoji or however you spell it. I am excited about the iPad changes. I will be downloading the developer version. Might be a mistake. Thanks for the recap.
ОтветитьNot impressed by ios26, I was expecting more, disappointed
Ответитьvery disappointment WWDC ,i see a lot of Android features
ОтветитьAnother good video. I enjoy how you keep a normal voice and discuss what’s going on. I was surprised too with what they had shown. There seems to be quite a few good features.
ОтветитьWell, I use an iPhone as my primary and an Android as my secondary. I do think the live translate functions and the iPad updates are interesting. Some of the updates in iOS 26 have been around in Android for some time or at least on Pixel phones. 🤷🏻♂️ but two things are sure this time – Siri is still going to suck, and Apple is in desperate need of new leadership from the top down to several departments. Just my opinion.
ОтветитьNice recap. I’m glad you watched it so I didn’t have to. 😂
ОтветитьTotally agree with the roundup, especially with the new features coming to iPad. Another welcome feature to iPhone will be the incoming call filter; so callers will have to verify themselves before the call comes through if they are not on the contact list. So many other features I will never use but there are practical improvement/features as you highlighted 👍
ОтветитьNever mind WWDC; how you managed to stay so Buff !!! I think you need another channel~~~
ОтветитьDoes all of this work using Gemini, the entire suite of products just seems to be a rip-off of whatever the Pixels got going.
ОтветитьWell, apart from Siri they DID deliver everything else they presented. I know Siri was the biggest one but I do believe it could have been way worse if they delivered a broken Siri 2.0.
ОтветитьWhen are they going to design a native calculator for iPad? Yeah, thought so.
Ответить'The snooze fest ended by apple introducing windows on the iPad'. Yikes, I don't even have an iPad and these are features from Windows 95.
ОтветитьGreat explanation as always bro 👍
My personal view on this event, very disappointed by these android feature updates.
Apple these days zzzzzzzzz………… 🤷♂️ iPhone 15 Pro Max iPad 13 inch m 4. I’m good for awhile
ОтветитьThank you Patrick! I can always count on you for a brief review from WWDC 2025. Definitely looking forward to the new iPad OS upgrades. I actually traded in my M1 iPad Pro with an M4. Had to get that OLED screen. Love it! 👍🏾 I also broke down and bought the latest iPad mini. I love them both! I plan to take the mini on my next cruise and keep the Pro home. Excellent review! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Ответитьtyping indicator its annoying, hahaha I have it on WhatsApp, It's like the app is giving you away, a gossip. XD
ОтветитьThere was really nothing there…
ОтветитьCrushing cans of Monster at 1am Patrick? 😳
ОтветитьMacBook the last line of defense for apple.
ОтветитьApple need to channel Steve jobs spirit. Build a alter or something. This is not it.
ОтветитьGreen monster... a man of culture i see
Ответитьwhy take ages to make a OS that look like MacOs for ipad?! we know that will happen one day!
ОтветитьIOS is something they can’t change too much - people hoping for a revolutionary change that was never going to happen. When 95% of the people using an iPhone don’t care about change and you have hundreds of millions of users, you can’t change much. That’s the point we’ve reached. iPadOS on the other hand - excellent updates and I’m looking forward to it!
ОтветитьI just now installed the iPadOS beta on my M1 iPad Air 5 (not my mission critical machine). I’m posting this from it now so I can tell you my Logitech Combo case is still working as it should, but otherwise it’s too early to form an opinion.
Ответитьit's very apple to show off carplay ultra in an aston martin.........................
ОтветитьGreat blog just disappointed with what has been announced and going to see how this improves anything or thinking about changing to another system
Ответитьfull safari on iPad would have been nice, able to view source inspect elements etc. Also a terminal and more coding options would have been sweet, will wait another year I guess
ОтветитьiPad OS is the only interesting thing for me! They’re just so far behind android at this point, it’s not even funny.
ОтветитьI personally don't care about AI because it's just a gimmick so far but I love the new design.
Ответить“And we delivered all this” haha that was funny. Like huh
Ответитьsassy AND a costume change.
ОтветитьWorkout Buddy is a bit too talkative right now.
ОтветитьThis wwdc is seriously so disappointing and underwhelming. Apple is really going down the drain
ОтветитьI’m going back to Sammy iOS is an absolute embarrassment.can’t even change system fonts
ОтветитьI always love your takes and love how you shoot straight without the hype. Awesome as always and thank you!
ОтветитьThe pop-up on CarPlay is huge. I imagine someone will come up with a CarPlay Ultra upgrade for old cars where one can replace the entire dash. People already do this on some performance cars with Android-based digital instrument clusters. My old BMW M3, which is awesome still, is much better with my CarPlay head unit. I’m not sure I’d want to give up the beautiful old school instruments, but it would be tempting.
ОтветитьNice video bro. Thank you
ОтветитьThanks for the clear and candid overview of the Apple updates, Patrick. Like you, I feel the iPadOS changes will be the most important. But for me, the one thing keeping me from using my iPadPro as my main computer is not the poor multitasking or even the terrible file management system, it is the slimmed down or dumbed down versions of many applications. PowerPoint, lacks the functionality of the MacOs version. Is this an inherent limitation of iPadOS, or simply the developers like Microsoft choosing not to give us the fully capable versions available on the Mac? Presumably hardware should no longer be a limitation. What do you think?
