Long Island county considers $1,000 fine for wearing masks hiding identity | NBC New York

The proposed mask fines would not include face masks used for health or religious reasons, but the legislation supported by Nassau County Republican legislators would make it a crime punishable by a year in jail and or a $1,000 fine to use a mask to conceal your identity in public.
