Just treated myself to one of these and it connects to absolutely nothing!
My gaming pc has none of the ports, my 5 laps tops have none of the ports!
Only had it 4 days so binning it instead...
Felt like I've wasted my money now!

My vr won’t turn on as it tells me to finish in vr

So do you need the cameras or whatevers i think theyre called beacons in english im getting one of these used and the seller doesnt seem to have them or are they even a thing

The DisplayPort and USB 3 cables aren't connecting, they are plugged into my pc but are not registering.

My laptop doesn’t have a display port input, anyway I could fix this? Maya be convert the display port cable into like an HDMI input?

I’ve just bought a second hand rift s and found that the display is not always clear around the edges, I’m running it with a i7 and a nvidia 1080, I’ve never had a VR before so unsure if this is normal or I need to change graphic settings of the pc

Got the headset two years ago as a graduation gift. Still never figured out how to set it up. When I got to the room setup part the headset just wouldn’t show anything besides pure blackness. Maybe I’m just stupid idk it’s been in my closet since I got it

still using mine in 2022 its perfect for sim racing which is mostly what its used for so no need for wireless that the quest 2 offers im very happy and there some good titles on the way too i like the quest 2 and will get one but ill keep the rift s aswell just thinl the link cable should come boxed with the quest as i am a pcvr gamer.
