Haven’t watched it all yet but I have seen some UR Historic Wizards decklists and most had only 2 Slickshots which I thought was a mistake but looking forward to checking it out

I was looking forward to this video. I played against you yesterday while trying out your theorycraft rogues deck and got wrecked by this list haha.

Will they finally pull the trigger on unbuffing Symmetry Sage? We'll see! Thanks for the breakdown and the games! I expect Cruise to be a lot more interesting now with Vista.

What's are your general thoughts on Vein Ripper now that the new set is here?

Thanks for the video! I played against you the other day when you were playing wizards, I was a running a stoneforge/arms scavenger deck. But I must say, I do hate the wizards deck. I'm so sick of facing it. It's basically 1 in every 3 games in best of 3. The combination of it being really good and it being relatively cheap on wild cards compared to most historic decks makes it just ridiculously overplayed.

Definitely a refreshing take on a archetype that has been fairly the same for a long time and I played far too much, really cool! Do you have any thought on how to tweak the list for BO1? I assume to put in shove aside for the frequent mirrors, probably over play with fire.

I love your builds so much. You're easily one of the best deck builders on arena out there. Your lists are super well refined, but also very often different from the rest of the meta in subtle ways. I love the different builds and techs you find for different lists. Keep showing us those sick lists and tight gameplay!

How would you build this for best of one

Thank you once again for another excellent deck/commentary..I would like to throw an idea,it works very well so far for me.Historic ninja vamps:satoru the infiltrator,vein ripper,sorin,ornithopter,bloodghast,changeling outcast(being a thopter a ninja and a vampire),retrofitter foundry,fatal push,ingenious infiltrator,2 copier of bitter triumph..satoru triggers from thopter,bloodghast landfall,sorins-3,and ingenious ninjutsu..the foundry-outcast-thopter is superb early game,and the card draw is there.ofc turn 3 ripper,and the ability to trigger rippers ability through sacrificing with foundry.The deck is weak vs combo decks tho,since i cant find room for more interaction..kight need refinement in the numbers.keep it up

Off topic: I saw you Explorer BO1 update and I'm totally baffled by your assertion that Holy Cow is a "direct upgrade to Inspiring Overseer".
In my opinion, this card is clearly weaker than the original. 1 more stamina, a scry, flash and 1 more life feels like a really weak trade-off for "draw a card". You often only need the 1 one life + 4 to activate Resplendent Angel, scrying is utterly worthless and Flash is largely meaningless when you're landing this creature off of a CoCo or Kayla's Reconstruction most of the time anyway.

Did symmetry sage just got nerfed to a 0/2 including its triggered ability? I just noticed the change but cannot find any news update about it.

Hey Alth, I've been looking around for resources on Timeless Jund lists but everything I find is outdated. I notice that the list in your article from today didn't change from last month which doesn't feel right, given the strong shifts in the meta. Do you know of any good places to find videos/guides/streams on Timeless Jund? What do you think about, for example, Abrupt Decay in the list? And what is Pick Your Poison in the SB for?

I don't know many quality Timeless content creators, so thanks for being one of them!
