. i was just in church this morning asking the lord why I'm in this season i think its because i got laziness. i started this year on fire. i had so many plans and then i just became stagnant. for a min i almost blamed God but this my lack of hunger for it is why i have yet to receive what he promised me. Thankful Jesus still correcting me and speaking to me even tho i am undeserving.

It makes sense that laziness is related to the arrogancy that we'll have another day to do what is necessary as the Bible says "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. - Psalms 90:12"

as someone who really struggles with this, this really helps me out, I have struggled with laziness a lot this year and just doing stuff last minute has always been just my thing, but thank you Lord for bringing this on my feed, I want to play college soccer and I know that one of the main things holding me back is laziness and procrastination, truly bless your soul and thank you so much for giving me some much needed guidance.

Laziness is also a sin because we take what God has blessed us with for granted. There are people who would do anything to go to school, to have a job, to have a home to take care. Yet we that already have these blessings we take them for granted which results in ungratefulness.

Thank you so much for this. As a senior in high school every single one of my days is filled with work, school, sports, and worry abt college and future experiences. I am so tired that I can complete all those things in a day but rarely find time to read my Bible or study the word. I am tired of wasting the time God gives me to spend with him. Thank you so much for helping me realize this! My goal is to spend time with God in the breaks of my day like the ten minutes in the morning before I leave for school, the class hours I have nothing to do.
