30 years of CHAS - a special event

We were delighted to celebrate 30 years of CHAS at a special commemorative event with founder members, staff and volunteers in Edinburgh. Three decades ago a group of parents, doctors and social workers decided Scotland needed a children’s hospice. Their commitment led to the inception of CHAS and eventually the opening up of our two children’s hospices, Rachel House and Robin House and a variety of other services.

This video captures this visionary group reuniting and discussing days past. Thank you to everyone who was involved in this event; without you, we simply wouldn’t be here.
